  2. Could you kindly put forward a big bag or two of cash to purchase the stadium from the owners then the stock car promotion, and a few more bags of cash to completely alter the stadium with a bigger stock car track and bigger speedway track more suitable? don’t necessarily disagree with the points about the suitability of the track shape but you make it sound like negligence on the Ipswich promotions part that they’re not moving with the times and making the track much bigger with zero grasp of a realistic solution. louis has altered the track banking and shape 4-5 times over the past few years doing his best to try and improve the racing within the confines of the stock car track and while it’s still quite one dimensional when prepared well there’s opportunity to go deeper and find grip to pass last night it was pretty poorly prepared…again stabdinng just on the exit of second bend have watched riders hitting a hole/bump mid turn 1/2 all season, can’t understand how it’s not been dealt with, frustrating for the riders and frustrating to watch week in week out, that hole was what Doyle was out on track complaining about and highlighting to Hawkins in the grade break.
  3. Today
  4. Glasgow have been racing at the current track and stadium since 1999, so 26 years.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Just caught up on this meeting earlier, decent meeting. Why oh why do we need the superheat? A draw is a draw. Nothing wrong with that. Only time you should need a superheat is if both teams are level on aggregate for the bonus. Looking like a Witches / Lions final this year.
  7. Only a few we deserved to lose team not as good as some think.
  8. Im sure i will like it speaking to our fans that have been, all give great feedback.
  9. Plymouth are not doing anything wrong. They are playing within the rules to give themselves the best chance to win. If they could change to another rider I’m sure they would, but unless you have a brilliant idea on who to bring in instead as a heat leader let us know. when the rules change Plymouth will have to change with it but currently the rule in place is best for Plymouth and arguably best for public as they get some of a heat leader as apposed to no heat leader. anyways up the glads and let’s go get this bonus point.
  10. Was wondering if Shane Parker would make a visit and really great to see another Glasgow legend Shane Bowes, looking forward to seeing them both.
  11. i said to Buster years ago they need a cricket style sun screen, could be a few quid but would save a lot of hassle. Although people buy beer and burgers during a sun break ...
  12. Each to their own. Was legendary at Wolves. Cradley fan. Insulting? Like how? One of the most welcoming centre green presenters around.
  13. Thats a fair point and yes compared to the last couple of years it was more evenly balanced.
  14. I watched the stream on BSN and admit to enjoying it - the track caused issues no doubt but there was also one or two really good races with some great overtaking moves. I shall, weather permitting, be at Foxhall next week for the visit of erm who is it again😉 Ellis had a good meeting great overtake in heat 15 too! Well done to the Cheetahs for giving it a go - got away from then after heat 8.
  15. I will be happy if we get a respectable tally of points after our recent away performances. An away win would be good , but I live in hope!
  16. Having beaten them 2 out if 3 times on their own track is really hurting some BV supporters
  17. I think you need to actually go to Foxhall stadium and watch a meeting, you sound like someone who switched on the live stream, watched one match and now thinks they have a good idea how the track has been all season. Ipswich has some of the best racing I’ve seen this season, Ellis Doyle Emil Brennan and king all know how to run it wide and cut back when needed. The fact tonight’s track was so bad (and I agree a boring watch bearing in mind I was actually there) shows how good it has been, Doyle never walks on the track to see issues, so all Ipswich boys wanted it to be the normal Thursday night they know so they could go outside or in. And if you want evidence as you mentioned previously I can send multiple videos from my phone confirming how good the racing has been. Only a few meetings ago Ellis came from 15m back to help in a 5-1.
  18. No its Vicars and Tarts night and he isn't going as a Vicar!!
  19. Apparently it's fancy dress nite at Plymouth on Saturday, maybe @lewy is trying to find his clown suit 😁🤡
  20. I see the usual suspects are trolling on here about the track. Given the expectation of a one sided affair it turned out to be a decent meeting, was a decent crowd in too, I wonder if bsn covered the second half, I didn't stay for that. Plenty of grip out there and Oxford (Janowski apart) gave a decent effort. Lawson always puts up a good fight and his race with Ellis was good to watch (note there was no pass but there doesn't have to be for a good race). I was impressed with Killeens win. McDiarmid improved each race and his battle with Killeen was a little hairy but he didn't back off - I was hoping for him to get the point. Kildemand was unlucky to fall with Brennan, the gap was there. Ellis looked much better for Ipswich and Thompson is back on form at the right time.
  21. Klindt doesn’t ride till the Sunday but they’ll just use the 75% rule again so he doesn’t get a ban. Notice you’ve never heard a peep from Lewy on all of this as he knows Klindt and Plymouth are well and truly at it. Normally very quick to comment on things but this he’s stayed silent on.
  22. Luke Becker down to ride, so perhaps Rowe not needed now
  23. If I purchase the stream how long is it valid to watch afterwards as I'll be at Berwick on Saturday night TIA
