I mean. A group of promoters, the majority of whom promote Championship speedway. That said, “Cartel” is a very strong term to use. Maybe more accurate to use “hobbyists” who’s preference is to keep to the way things are run because that protects their involvement to a low level of risk whilst fulfilling their egos.

Shouldn’t do it’s in my wallet. When I used to have cash in my pocket I use to lose it down the side of my armchair. -

I think Poole will hit the 60+ mark with Pickering scoring 50% of Scunthorpe’s points. -

Fricke, Bewley, Kurtz and J.Holder should all average around 11 this season. Then a wide gap down to 8. - Today

I was there too, over the moon that it's back. Probably the healthiest crowd I've ever seen which was lovely to see. It was bitterly cold though with a relentless freezing wind that just didn't give up. Me and my dad had to leave after heat 12 because the cold won, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to go back for more. For those who are already moaning about it or have negative comments to make, please keep them to yourselves. The people that have poured their hearts and souls into brining Buxton back from the dead would be hurt to see this, and we should be supporting new tracks coming into the sport, no matter what your opinions are.

while I think Mulford is a fair shout, I can understand Joe T because he's got experience at Leicester, Foord could improve but he's currently only a Champ reserve, so not on the level of the aforementioned duo yet. -

Jake Mulford is the obvious stand out but also Vinnie Foord. JT's better score at home last night can (partly) be attributed to him riding an engine of his brothers. -

When the points limit is lowered, it's hard for teams to appear strong compared to last season's side. -

On his first visit to Foxhall I was impressed with gusts on track, don’t remember what he scored but got better every time he came out and had a real go, didn’t push on like I thought he would but morale looked pretty low in the Oxford pits last year, tough environment for a foreign youngster to come into and the pressure be straight on you -

On Cook's FB page it's full of his supporters telling him how well he's done, I could hardly believe it. Obviously his followers are gonna be fans, but does it do him any good telling him he did well with 3 last places. I'd think it's be more motivating to say "you did your best, I'm sure you'll do better next time & well done on winning heat 14"? -
The fans forum ? What ever happened to that ?? Heard at the start about setting one up, then as far as I'm aware radio silence ever since 🤔

With the Championship "product" solely reliant on being subsidised by the top tier also paying the same riders that the Championship want to use... Crowds of 600/700 would only support NDL racing, and not support top tier HL's leading their teams... One Big League was suggested, and, personally, with so few teams in total, I feel that would resonate to a wider public number, however, the logistics would mean it couldn't happen as these teams with 600/700 crowds couldn't afford to solely pay top tier HL's who no longer could double up... Hence, two tiers will need to remain... With the tail wagging the dog...
