  1. Past hour
  2. Lol, he was riding when they won in the BSN meeting! Got 7+2 riding at no3. His and Mitch's score are the main reason they did win.
  3. Good luck both teams! Hoping for a good watch! is there a problem with Lynn turnstiles always struggling with bigger crowds? Last year when I went you couldn’t buy tickets in advance which was weird I thought, is that still the case?
  4. Sorry, probably too late but free parking on the numerous tyre/MOT forecourts on the Walsall Rd (A34) opposite the McDonald's Good for prompt escape to M6. You'll get stuck at the Scott Arms junction (undoubtedly) and the M6 junction 7 is a weird one, to go north on the M6 you leave the roundabout on the inside (you'll pretty much have to go completely round it once).
  5. So far , from what i've seen from the Lions they get out of traps quick. So away win for me,
  6. Oxford are an utter joke this year with Gusts and Knudsen. Ripping their own and others fans off all year with their select sides.
  7. You say that, but... passing should be difficult and riders should be utilising all their riding skills to accomplish that pass or it just becomes all too easy and dare I say it boring, that's why I'm not a fan of the Scunny track, yes there's a lot of passing but I've seen riders make passes at that track and I couldn't really say how they've made the pass, it just seems a bit random... like the speedway equivalent of Basketball, when they just score a basket and then go up the other end and score a basket and vice versa until the clock runs down, or the passing that goes on at the Indy 500.

  9. Teams: Poole (TM Neil Middleditch) 1 Richard Lawson 2 Tobias Thomsen 3 Lewi Kerr 4 Zach Cook (Capt) 5 Anders Rowe 6 Paul Starke 7 William Cairns Oxford (TM Peter Schroeck) 1 Sam Masters (Capt) 2 Jacob Hook (Guest) 3 Zaine Kennedy (Guest) 4 Mitch McDiarmid 5 Cameron Heeps 6 Luke Killeen 7 Darryl Ritchings (Guest)
  10. If this remains in the balance for Thursday I'll head to Beaumont Park. Think Lions will win both legs though, they're the form Premiership team at the moment.

  12. A lot of riders do look a lot larger than they are due to all the body armour they wear, it was just surprising to see the growth spurt Cairns had done since I saw him last season. Speedway is generally a small man's game and you just don't know what kind of a man some of these kids will grow into, maybe that's a reason why not many 250cc champs make the grade at 500cc when they grow into men... I think it's a fair discussion to have.
  13. Watch along/unofficial fan commentary live from 7.20pm! Get in the comments on YT!
  14. I’m not discussing his body image.I’m sure he is “as fit as a flea” I was commenting on his height and build ,that is no way body shaming. You as speedway supporter have obviously heard the discussion with Woffy and Doyle regarding natural size and build of riders that they consider that might a disadvantage these day given the Technical Advances in the sport. Please don’t make things up just because you have a different opinion of my post.
  15. No, not necessarily! They always say the gap between Champ and NDL is quite big, so imagine going from NDL to doing Champ and Prem at 16 at once. Think it's too much imo. What's the rush? If they are desperate to do both then Champ in March/April and then possibly Prem from July onwards imo.
  16. On Wednesday the Pirates take on the Cheetahs with league points up for grabs. Early on in the season they gave us a lesso in gating and walked away with victory in the Bsn fixture. Can the Pirates gain revenge. Mitch McDiarmid was impressive last time around although he was at reserve and you know what Sam Masters is capable of around Wimborne Road. Not sure if Jonas Knudsen has ridden at Poole before it may have been with Berwick. Luke Killeen isn't quite as dominant as he was last season and the rest of the team are hit and miss. Sticking my neck out, I feel we can win this but need a better performance all round after last week against the Comets. Thoughts?
  17. Not sure discussing a 16 year olds body image on a forum is a good thing tbh. No wonder some of them have low mental health.
  18. Love you too Lewy Although thre is a little of pot calling kettle here
  19. Are you sure about your facts. Yes I do know what im talking about as we looked at using them once,it was scary. So maybe you should check your facts ! Clown??? Your either 5 or Whizzair MD.
  20. Today
  21. He's fine at the moment. But if he keeps growing, he could be a big lad, but that's for the future. I've head some GP boys try and loose the last few lbs for the the GP's, to try and make them that tiny bit faster on the big tracks. Whether is works, i don't know. It's more about weight than height i guess. I bet 5ft8 Ben Barker weights more than 6ft Mike Lee did
  22. Yes,it was said on BSN flying in on Tuesday practice on Wednesday sure they said Leicester, Edinburgh on Friday
  23. Would agree he’s a big lad compared to a lot of other riders. Is it a slight disadvantage these days.?
  24. Yes I think a Lynn win tonight but not by much, the good thing is no tacticals.
