  1. Past hour
  2. The loss of Kevin Long on the mic has been massive from my perspective. Can’t be understated what a difference he made to the meeting experience. Huge miss.
  3. Well he's been spotted having a practice. So we might get a Christmas bonanza meeting the year.
  4. I also think that no Tac subs works in Redcars favour, as we have good cover lower down to pack the minor placed
  5. Personally I think Redcar need 10 points lead tonight. Saying that, it wouldn’t surprise me if we only won by 4 and still went through. We are an absolutely unpredictable team at the moment. Plymouth could come and win by 10 as well. How’s that for sitting on the fence 😂😂
  6. Interested to find out off people on here, what sort of lead do you think Redcar NEED to get tonight at home?
  7. Today
  8. Over the years, I’ve never believed a single word you’ve written.
  9. Berwick were the same last year regarding Cook.Think it is a touchy subject.
  10. R/R for cookie. Promotion are awful. R/R isnt too bad, but they aren't keeping us in the loop at all. Is he banned? Has he quit? No one knows
  11. I've been to the meeting s at Foxhall this season and haven't noticed any decline from last season. In fact, the new TV screen has added to the experience and once they get interviews onto that for the crowd to hear it will be even better. Some people just love to moan.
  12. I gave my reasoning in a follow-up post. Better than Doyle is subjective in terms of team benefit. At the NSS not many score more than Bewley but they will win all their home fixtures anyway. Away from there it's not so certain.
  13. It's a bit like formula 1,,massive crowds for that, a tiny percentage for club racing
  14. Cant see this being EASY win for Berwick.Heat WInners might be hard too come by with Glasgow Heat Leader trio’s Shielfield form.66
  15. The GP's showed that there is still very much a market out there for Speedway,... Around a million quid would have been taken in ticket sales... The challenge is engaging many of those fans who attended the GP's to attend domestic Speedway regularly.. Me and my lad were stood with four Aces followers who, like us both, don't bother with the run of the mill league racing... There are definitely enough followers out there to significantly improve its position if the sport can sort itself out and engage them..
  16. Just shut it down, and everyone can move on with their lives.
  17. Should be an easy win for Berwick. Glasgow have too many variables in their 1-7. Harris, Flint and Howarth should score well but it’s anybody’s guess how the other four will do. Meanwhile, Berwick look strong - at home anyway - and being led by the self styled chosen one - who has to now be thought of as an honorary Englishman - will spur them on.
  18. Why? They weren't nailed on with Bewley, who is better than Doyle!
  19. Tĥè Eccoʻaren̈à should n̈ot hold àn̈y fears for Grmek an̈d Ķĺìma most riders take to ìt ĺiķè à dùcķ to water. The bears need to be on their A game, to win this never mind, build up a decent lead.
  20. 50% chance of rain at 15:00 ... this one could be in doubt 😉🤔
  21. Most meetings over the past decade or so have become pretty much "Speedway for the sake of it"... Given so many promoters fund a hobby plenty of what we have now is "Speedway for the sake of it".. Hence, nothing is even considered to not be fit for purpose, therefore nothing radically changes and each season morphs into the last one.. Without these hobbyists though there wouldn't be Speedway, given there doesn't appear to be a long line of others to take over their tracks..
