You can have entertaining speedway, but still have an opinion on someone’s form. It’s the beauty of sport. No idea what you mean by the attendances comment. -
BVTV interviewer asking Klindt if he's going to make any changes... thank goodness 👏

It is UK Speedway, so maybe it's both?

I presume the shops, pubs and cafes in the town wouldn't agree... It will be worth tens of thousands to the local economy...

Great, positive marketing..... No negative thoughts, just opportunity to be taken... Some can do it, it seems...

Glasgow v Edinburgh, BSN, Sunday 3 May 3pm

By my reckoning, Hodder outscored Max 41-34 head to head last year. He was also much stronger at home, where Max struggled (he had a higher away average). They definitely kept the right rider IMO. It seems other teams agreed, given Max didn't pick up a spot until Workington replaced their #7. His championship average has progressed, but his national league average hasn't. To me, that says Max has hit his level. Freddy's average progression has been slow, but it is still going up. That said, when I watch him ride, I'm not convinced there's a lot of progression left. He often chooses the wrong lines and looks tentative. -
no sound on stream, anyone else same?

Perry was riding those last few races injured, was he not? Despite the numbers, I just think Perry's attitude & fight goes further, and maybe had more potential to grow. When it comes down to the crunch, neither are in the same realms as some of their reserve counterparts. That's the bigger issue. - Today

Sorry but there’s more important things for the council to spend money than on a parade for coming second. It’s not as if the council will get any of the £150 million, that is going to the football club and them only. I’m not taking anything away from them getting promoted but it doesn’t warrant a parade

When promotion is worth around £150 million I think you can understand the celebration! It does highlight the stark reality of Speedways finances when the flipside is that it could mean a reduction in the crowd at Foxhall that is the difference between a break even season and a large loss The usual 1500 would traditionally be raised to 5000 on a good weather bank holiday If that is down to 3000 then the 2000 difference costs the Witches in the region of £40k Peanuts in relation to the football club - a weeks wages for just one player but vital to the Speedway club! -

Not having that @kerry, despite the fact Hodder has been poor. Stevie Wonder could see Hodder was the only reserve returning after last season. Perry was an empty race suit in the play-off final, scoring only 1+1 across both legs. He had 25 heats in the post-August “business end” of the season and didn’t score in 17 of those heats. Hodder scored 9+3 in across both legs of the play-off final. Hodder outscored Perry all season, ended with a greater average and 90% of that was from the more difficult number six while Perry was at seven. A no brainer of a decision to retain Hodder at the expense of Perry. It’s unfortunate it isn’t working out.

Can’t believe they are having a parade, yes they got promoted but it’s not as if they won the league

Agree, the days of seeing Henriksson stuff Morris into the turn 1 fence three times in one afternoon or Compton shoving Mullet over the fence are long gone.
