Had a really nice phone call with Mark. Was an eye opener

I hope they invited Stewart Dickson for his input?

There’s a Belle Vue supporter on this forum and you know who you are, who is attempting to contact the Belle Vue management to look in to and contest, the average of Kim Nilsson. I wish I could say I was joking but alas. Pure desperation stuff. Comical.

How many times before people learn. Don’t feed the troll, don’t give him the oxygen that he craves. It’s plain as day (or should be!) what his game is. Stick it on ignore.

cowboy cookie returns? replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wow there are some bitter lemons up in Manchester. We all know every rider is a free agent come November 1st unless a multi year deal has been signed. -
SGB Championship 2027 Confirmed Signings

I'm commenting simply to keep this thread at the top of the forums because there are no mods anymore. Ignore. -
Grmek is definitely not worth that. Rode most of the year at reserve (he would start as second string at Glasgow) and has a worse average than both Mario Hausl and Ryan Ingram. Even Mitchell Cluff, who can't ride Armadale (his home track last year), had a better average than Grmek

It is a bit of a joke Nilsson is 4.5 but at the end of the day it’s not Ipswich fault, the rule book is a complete mess.

I have no clue if we will win the trophy anything can happen in speedway im not gonna sit here and say the rumoured team will easly win cause we dont know if 1 thats the team or 2 any other teams. We are never gonna agree and neither will see each others side so best just to move on cause arguing over age average is just stupid when again we dont even know if thats the team. Every club knows they dont own riders its not just us some people stay with a club for years cause they like it others move on for whatever reason they want you are the one trying to make a big deal that we are stealing when you cant steal a rider they make their own choice.

Paco is ok if he has an inside gate and makes a start. Overated IMO.

Just take their averages in October when you are lifting the trophy as a TEAM. This has really irked me and maybe that was the intent but I didn’t have you down as a troll like the other bunch. Due to the rules Richard only has free rein age wise over the top five so that’s what I used from my comparison. Perfectly reasonable, don’t you agree? Ipswich seems to be the only club stating this free agents spin as a way to take the sting out of their activities. Other clubs have a stronger bond with their riders and most fans can readily identify a particular rider with a particular club. I like it that way but I respect your opinion to the contrary even though I believe it to be detrimental to the fan engagement aspect of the sport.

Agreed most people say he's a lovely fella but he seems to have peaked at second string level , personally would take a chance on the young aussie you mention or try and get a new lad in from overseas even given that its 50/50 whether they turn into a success.

As I commented yesterday, the following rule underneath the chart also states said chart will be used if the rider has been missing for more than 3 seasons
-
Every Club will need some experienced Leaders in the pits due to the amount of youngsters in each team. Some of the youngsters have bright futures granted but they still lack experience to a point where they've still got a lot to learn and who better to learn from when it comes to riders like Doyle, King, Harris and co to name a few.
-
They have birthdays all over the place they will all be what I said when they sign Pretty sure cairns will have been signed based on ability for a low average rather than bringing an average age down.. There's no tree ripping up when you sign a free agent / self employed rider at the end of a season
-
I don't know what average Kim Nilsson would be assessed, However, the rule book does say this:- 010.2.2 Assessed MA’s Riders who are new to British Speedway and are not eligible to participate in the British Development League are calculated as follows
-
I used their ages in 2027, you know the year when they actually ride together as a team. It’s a bit rich taking credit for having a youngster at 7 when the rules state you have to have a youngster at 7. Do you agree? Why not? I thought the rules stated 2 U21 riders. This certainly sheds light on to why they paid so so much for William as it definitely helps with their youthful team total. Hope it was worth it. Was my original post factually correct or not? Yes or no please, seeing as you are describing me as a troll. I’ll take your silence as a yes btw.
-
Cant just do 5, do the whole team I know you're a troll but come on
-
Doyle 41, Bewley 27, King 40, Riss 31, Nilsson 36, Cairns 17 and Foord 20 I make that average 30. Even if you discount the rising star its 32 not 36

If this is to be the Ipswich team then it’s another tick on my Coleman BS bingo card. Coleman has stated the need for younger teams as his top five last year had an average age of 37. This year by sticking to his principles he has managed to get it down to 36. Little wonder he has raided the Belle Vue Babes in an attempt to get his total team average down. They do say imitation is the best form of flattery. Thank you Richard. One interesting quote on the 360 Podcast. “stressed that if the sport doesn't make an active, interventionist decision to "plant the tree today," it has no future” What I wasn’t expecting was rather than plant the tree he decided to rip one up from another garden and plant it in his. Top guy. Stay tuned for more Coleman BS bingo to follow. Get yer dobbers out.
