  2. Surely Jody Scott would be top of the list for bringing back. I've not seen anything yet about whether a team can or can't have 2 riders over 8 (or whatever average) for 2027. So I'm going to guess Klindt and Wright would both be wanted back. If not, then maybe Ace Pijper as I expect him to be back. Redcar seem to be about the only team that someone hasn't claimed to have already signed Tate Zischke, so maybe I should start that rumour đŸ€Ł
  3. Your options of a guest at No.7 won’t work for the paying public if one of the absentees is the teams No.1. Option 2 is a non starter if it’s your top two that are missing. Option 3 which could be called the ‘Buster’ option, would be the obvious go to for call offs to avoid a spanking. Speedway’s biggest problem (in the UK) is the ability gap between the riders at No.1 and No.7. In the same team. Yes it is that simple and is the reason we have points limits on team building, an obsession with averages, guests, R/R, protected races, tactical subs and doubling up. Stand to be corrected, but that has always been the case throughout the history of the sport. There is no other sport in the world which tries to implement rules in an attempt to balance out the ability of people competing directly against each other (other than levels of golf maybe). Without enough riders and facilities for more ability focused leagues, I don’t have the answer to this disparity, other than trying to level the field with equipment (electric bikes?) but this would seemingly punish the top riders who’ve invested time and money to be at the forefront of the sport.
  4. Oh dear. That's a blow. They'll probably cancel the GP in that case.
  5. My tablet auto translated to English, not going but site seems more straightforward to book than 2023 when I last went. £46 for a 1st corner low teer seat is good value 😄
  6. I agree if he makes the gate he's quick but if he's behind doesn't pass many.
  7. Your recollection is wrong , Terry the Track was not responsible for the Coventry incident although it was a guy with a Polish surname. He did win Redcar track of the year in 2017 & 2018 and is currently the SCB track inspector with Jonathan Swales.
  8. We tend to make a big display of them all from over the years, so several tins are usually required.😇
  9. So it’s been announced Redcar will reveal 3 signings for 2027 , any guesses who the three may be ?

  11. Really like the way Berwick are shaping up for next year if they complete with Palovaara and a 2.00 rider I feel they will be knocking on the door again next season as a Poole fan I felt they were a huge threat over 2 legs and with keeping Jenkins is a massive plus even though Kemp is weaker than Kildemand I feel the other riders can pick up that short fall and will be competing for honours again next season.
  12. Never got a season ticket been going since 99 and there’s no incentives there to get one, hope there’s some announcement that season ticket holders will get that meeting next year if not that’s not good enough!
  13. I’m certainly not blinkered! Does that mean my season ticket that covered the meeting in 2026 will cover as explained the new 2027 meeting, what about the 2027 season ticket and that meeting?
  14. "Mark, the World Champ is on the phone, saying he can ride in the British Final to try and defend his title"... "No, we will be better off without the World Champ there".. .😁
  15. Gawd 37 pages now. Even Rob Godfrey and David Howe have stated that Poole didn't cheat! Maybe mods can close the thread now?! In the meantime, must get some more trophy polish ready for the End of Season Party.😃
  16. When the BSPL (sorry, I mean Poland) decide that the Premiership can run on nights other than Monday and Thursday, especially Wednesday. And Poole move up. Or, more simply Leicester drop down. Then we can run the Jubilee Final. Doesn't feel very likely eh? đŸ€Ș
  17. What benefit is that to anybody
.more people are likely to attend to see the world champion appear
speedway is for the fans as well
  18. For my part, I'll repeat that I don't consider what Zach did was cheating. The SCB say he broke the rules. That's not the same thing. What happened in the first leg was an entirely different thing. Not that we hear any denials about that incident.
