  1. Past hour
  2. Watching Polish match just now McDairmid given 2 rides in Ht 14-15 against opposition heat leaders after Zelina Gora have match won.1/2 lap behind in both but I suppose the money should be good.
  3. Has to be Jepppesen for me, his 4.48 average just fits below PHB. Would strengthen Witches quite a bit imo
  4. He also told Tate not to do Prem in his first season. They don't always listen!
  5. Attacking posters and not the subject will only see a further decline.
  6. Take he recommended Bowes last year🤔😂
  7. I joined in 2003. It was bunch of serious fans that debated issues with respect. We didn't always agree, but we developed our point of view without attacking the poster. I gained a lot of new friends back then, all over the UK and in OZ. We met at the British Final and Cardiff and some of them are friends to this day. I raced in Oz, twice, and met many forum friends there who I hold dear to this day. I've always been pleased to share views with other long standing fans and to learn from their experience. Not to mention having a good laugh along the way. This is a happy place for me (on the whole) and long may it be so. Thank you Phil for your foresight and inspiration, not to mention your continued support for this long standing home for British speedway debate.
  8. Danny has pulled out of tonight's match for Plymouth following the injury he picked up after his fall last night. He will now miss both meetings against Leicester next week. Get well soon mate, we need you!
  9. Kevin is a good prospect for the future but Jeppesen is a better rider at the moment. I think he was averaging over 6.00 for Northampton Jeppesen average in championship is 8.50 and Kevin is 5.30.
  10. Back in the good ol' days of the forum there were regularly 2000 live online. During GPs, World Cup, British Finals etc, 3-4000 could be online. Even today, there’s been around 740 online, which is not bad considering the current state of British Speedway.
  11. From 2001 to the mid 2010's it was very well used, most teams had fans posting. It started to fall off when the likes of Reading,Eastbourne and Coventry especially closed along with all the other tracks lost to the sport. There was quite a few Sheffield fans (Forum owner Phil included ! ) who would post daily, now hardly anyone bothers as the Tigers- Leicester meeting thread proved!
  12. Today
  13. I was on the forum years ago, had a brief spell off and rejoined when it was taken over.
  14. Hoping for the announcement any time?! Needs to be in place for monday
  15. Same here, Just know he's going to improve as well after he gets a few more meetings under his belt.
  16. So is there a guest or will it be r/r for King?
  17. I used to follow speedway from 1984 -1993 (ish) the sport was struggling then but had a shot in the arm when Sky came on board and I got interested again watching it on Sky Sports but was never tempted back to trackside. I'm not sure how many are left rattling around this forum now maybe 20-40 of us I can't remember when I joined possibly couple of years ago but has it always been a very small number of posters or were there hundreds here in the past ?
  18. Darcy will tell any Aussie prospects to go to Workington like he did with tate
  19. Ditto think ìt wìll be a close contest with Berwick prevailing in the end. Redcar weak at 2 4 an̈d 6 ( possibly), but hopefully they have a good n̈ight.
  20. Will be very near a full house in Leszno tonight with only 500 tickets left for sale a couple of hours ago.
  21. Wheres Gavan? Maybe he is having a drink with his old mate Mr Shovlar!
  22. KJP on a 3.53 for sure. Very impressed this week
