  1. Past hour
  2. I think the monarchs will be fine they have enough strength in depth at home.
  3. expensive night for louis through no fault of his own this league really is a mess
  4. I never realised he hadn't ridden a match yet, seems like he signed quite a while ago?
  5. Unfortunately for Mr Louis,, he won't be getting my money tonight,, and none of it his doing,,,
  6. Today
  7. VK link for Tarnów v Leszno: https://vk.com/video-53550004_456242370
  8. In the rider interviews at the end Will said there was nothing in gate 4 in the later heats - it was bald!. Also I don't quite understand why Poole chose 2&4 in heat 15?
  9. This ought to be a cracking night in Plymouth. Expecting another big crowd with great weather. Under 16's go free and the best 'Gladiator' fancy dress wins a centre green experience. Plymouth have released an update on Ben Barker today. Nothing is broken, still in severe pain with limited movement and they believe it was a dislocation. He will work closely with Michal Halambiec from B3&Fit with the hope of getting back on the bike for Saturday evening!
  10. No Victor Palovaara for Edinburgh due to illness and they go with R/R. Given the recent performances of both teams this should be fine, but I've got a sneaky suspicion this might be quite a tough fixture. Teams from Edinburgh website: Friday 8th August: Edinburgh Monarchs v Scunthorpe Scorpions (Championship), Armadale, 7:30pm STELLAR MONARCHS: Rider replacement for Victor Palovaara, Paco Castagna (Capt.), Justin Sedgmen, Kye Thomson, Michael Palm Toft, Jonatan Grahn, Jordy Loftus. ELLIE ROSE SCORPIONS: Steve Worrall, Zaine Kennedy, Luke Harrison, Connor Mountain, Jake Allen, Declan Kennedy, Simon Lambert (Capt.)
  11. Wonder which Oxford team will turn, as it's a strange side, wins at Berwick one week, and lose at home against Redcar
  12. I will be about, but probably not till Saturday morning, after I've driven back from supporting the comets at Glasgow
  13. Not often one looks at a line up and thinks 'Slovenia must be amongst the favourites'
  14. Will had shown such good form in his previous rides, it seemed almost nailed on he would continue the form considering he was in the favoured gate 4. But he made a complete hash of the gate and was left for dead entering the first bend. The track at that stage offered nothing (it didn’t most of the meeting) and he couldn’t get near to Perry. No one is expecting much of Will this season. Just ride to his average, do his best, and that’s enough. Anything extra is a bonus.
  15. Did you not read my post after the meeting? Or are you just making things up?
  16. Is it not because Palovaara has yet to make his debut so MM comes in as a 75% guest?
  17. Never known so much dust as there was last Saturday was like being on Stars in their Eyes
  18. Should have realised, I did watch the Oxford meeting last night! Things change so quick in speedway with team changes , guests, r/r, injuries etc.
  19. While I appreciate that Neila is just having a pop at Poole, the reality seems to me to be that generally Poole supporters are only too aware, that this season isn't going to be like last year. The Pirates are still a strong team for sure, but riders aren't being very consistent or finding their best form at this point, Lawson being the obvious exception, and you might well include Kerr too. So it's an obvious concern going into the sharp end of the season, hence fans' on line comments.
  20. Mitch McDiarmid has moved into the main body of the team now or had on Saturday at Berwick and home last night against Redcar.
  21. Will be interesting to see what line up turns up for Oxford. Becoming a joke with line ups this season. Ipswich tonight is a prime example. 100% no Gusts as doing GP Challenge.
