Of course the lineup matters, if you expect people to turn up and support it. The early ones had pretty stellar lineups, then it seemed to tail off to become an NDL level meeting before picking up again in recent years... seems to be on the decline again. -

Agree the money raised for the cause is the goal, but I'm reluctant to travel from Cumbria to watch this line up, can see most at worky during the season, gonna buy the stream and do my usual donations through the season -

The line up doesn't matter The cause does. It's an early season meeting where riders are blowing off the cobwebs and in my opinion since it was brought in one of the most important British meetings of the year. - Today

Worky got Dan bewley and Jan kvech -
How do you know he hasn't been named? Just because they can't be bothered to tell the customers ... After all, they've announced Northampton as a new team, but it seems that the track still hasn't been approved ... lots of assumptions being made ...
-
If I’m back from work before the show ends I will.
-
All ready named at number 1
-
198 Guests used last season in the top two leagues... With one less team in the top tier they are going to have to go some to beat it... My money is on them to do it though...
-
Ah but it was very heavily hinted during the recent feature article on him in SS that he is going to be in the team, so in the circumstances that should be enough for a facility to be given
-
With the amount of miles and meetings he does over all aspects of racing, he certainly deserves to be
-
Just tune in at 7pm on Wednesday and ask him yourself...!

What the hell is going one here? I keep looking every day on the interweb thinking surely there must be some news. Surely even what the team are to be called? The season has begun and we have little to no information about this new venture. Interestingly enough I did some work in Northampton the other week and one of my clients used to follow MK back in the day. I asked him if he was looking forward to the new speedway at Northampton and he hadn't got a clue what I was talking about!!

Promising result by Scunthorpe. I felt Redcar's success would rely on their reserves improving. Both rode above their averages, so that was a plus. Of course it's very early days, but don't think either are a top 4 team.
-
i would imagine he already is
-
On his own FB page, Klindt said he had signed for 28 days only, but Redcar didn't mention that?
-
Maybe they could sign Dag Lovass (pronounced Rider replacement) from White City
-
More meetings will have guests this season? This time next year Rodney , Bomber will be a millionaire..

I dont think its ever anything to do with the track who stage it, and I belive the riders ride for free which is why 'top stars' very rarely appear. -
If they threaten to close their track that might get it. Also, whilst they’re at it they could get a reduction on their number one’s average. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/21results/kings_lynn_17.05.21_res.pdf

I could hear the guy in the box for the most part, the guy on the centre green perhaps needs to hold the microphone away from his face a bit, sounds like mumbling DJ.
-
One million percent... More meetings will have guests this season, again, than not, for a plethora of avoidable reasons, therefore Northampton starting with them, and even running all season with them, for something out of their control, isn't going to make one jot of difference to the credibility of the sport.... And, it is imperative that Northampton are competitive... And, given the other promoters have put their team together, I am sure they will ensure it... Whichever way it has to happen...

That team would struggle in the Premiership...
