  1. Past hour
  2. Or any sunshine then it requires a break in match as well, in both Ipswich matches the start has been delayed due to the club not getting the fans through the turnstiles, I'd suggest to have tickets online to alleviate that issues or at least help the situation.
  3. Where the track required extensive work due to the downpour in the afternoon. If it was a normal evening it would’ve been done and dusted a lot earlier…
  4. You get the odd late finish but generally its over and done with by 9:30 at Lynn nowadays. If people cant be out later than that as a rule then that's on them not speedway clubs. Those people obviously don't go to midweek football matches, concerts, evening cinema showings or anything else that might deprive them of their cocoa.
  5. Would agree.Nagel has had a lot more experience than Mcdiarmid though.
  6. He’s been a pretty loyal servant to Lynn the last 4 years (with a little bit of time spent with Oxford in 2024).
  7. they were going at it pretty hard, when he realized toby weren't giving way he did stop. Off that 4th bend. i didn't see a problem with it.
  8. Maybe a ban won't make much difference in some situations, but why should the rider suffer if they're the ones not being paid? What if Tungate had the opportunity of another team place and couldn't take it up because he was banned for withholding his services? Who knows what the real truth is here. Let's face it, Tungate is hardly Mr. Reliable at the best of times, but everything always seems so focused on the riders. If it's a crap track, riders are 'whining', if they're not getting paid they should refuse to turn up, etc. Maybe it's time they started properly investigating these things and punishing the club if they're to blame. It's not as if a points deduction would bother Oxford this season, but it might send some sort of message.
  9. I watched last night on LionsTV, excellent coverage as ever. But wished I made the effort to get to Leicester. These are the best two balanced teams in the league and it would make a great final. However Ipswich fans saying Leicester would win over two legs appear not to have noticed they picked up the bonus point and they are let to drop a BP this season.
  10. It was the Leicester fixture that was 9-55 finish not last week my mistake. It's definitely not a myth. There is some one on here that dosen't go to Lynn anymore because of the late finishes. Sorry to wake you.
  11. It depends on the limit and how many teams compete (ie who may be freed up) but I'd be quite happy to seen them all back, its a team I've enjoyed watching this year. You just feel it needs somebody to nail down the number one spot so that everyone rides on the position they should, the current 1-7 has a really good balance. Niels has been a different rider at 2 for example compared to his earlier struggles.
  12. I'm basing it off current form only, Other than last night you're going back to meetings that took place a couple / few months ago when it comes to the BP statement. Currenly state of play would show that Leicester are a side that's been on a very good run of form for a while now and a team who've already got silverware to show for it and they've still got improvement in the side to come once Becker settles back in. Where's Ipswich aren't on the same form as they were at the start of the season and improvements are needed from various riders whilst also hoping that Jenkins can redescover his pre-injury form once he returns in place of Edwards.
  13. They all fit in easily with their current averages, if the points limit is the same next season. Just thought I would take a look at the averages after last night's result, and under King's Lynn it has the Oxford averages😆
  14. And there it is, no televised meeting from Lynn is complete without a whinge from our friend from Peterborough 😁
  15. Today
  16. Why aren’t BSN showing Leicester v Ipswich, it would have easily doubled their viewing, rather than this crock of shyte
  17. With his attitude towards British Speedway (especially Plymouth) does he really deserve a testimonial? I think there's too many testimonials now anyway, remember when it used to be 10 consecutive years with 1 club. Because of the points limit, I understand it's hard to stay with a club that long, so I'd suggest 10 years with a club still, but doesn't have to be consecutive seasons. But any rider that misses matches when they don't get a facility, that season doesn't count?
  18. Tobias to miss Wednesday meeting at Sandy Lane, covered by RR.
  19. Interesting idea, but I don't think there's a need for helping teams be stronger when they're missing riders. As it stands there's no reasons for clubs to replace injured riders due to the guest system, if a club had multiple riders missing, this ruling could make them even less likely to make a change? Plus it would be easy to abuse, say you can only get a 6 pointer to replace your number one, would clubs then try & convince a reserve to be ill to allow a stronger replacement in?
  20. For more flexibility of available choice of guests allow any team with more than 1 rider out to replace them with any riders upto a combined total of the missing riders' average rather than replacement based upto individual rider average maybe avoiding R/R at least ??? 🤔
  21. I was in a pub drinking a pint by 9:50 and that was seven or eight miles from stadium. And I stopped for five mins on way out of AFA to talk to someone I bumped into.
  22. nothing meeting this really, because belle vue going to smash everyone in play offs anyway
  23. Nicolai announced his testimonial last night... will be 15th March 2026 at the AFA. Hasn't really started planning yet but is thinking a four team tournament
  24. yes it was, very unproffessional, was certainly some unhappy people around me that i heard say was going to complain about it. and yes, there is beef 🙄
  25. This team has always been very capable. Ben's injury, close away defeats an home and away to BV and Sheffield that could so easily have been wins - add a bit more confidence and belief and our season could have looked very different..... If this team all fit average wise again next season, I'd probably take it, especially if we can't attract a genuine no. 1....
  26. There are clearly some issues at Oxford but fair play to McDiarmid, Killeen and particularly Kildemand for putting in plenty of effort. Palovaara was reasonable considering it was his AFA debut but the less said about the others the better. As a friend of mine said last night, we've only been waiting five months for the Lynn team to all click 😁 the opposition was obviously very poor but nice to hit 60 albeit too late to mean much.
