We all have the sport at heart I think, there's just not enough of us. Be interesting to know what influence you've had, genuinely. I've gathered you used to ride, think I know who you are but that doesn't matter, I've admiration for anyone who can slide a bike round a shale oval. I always wanted to do it but for various reasons didn't get the opportunity, shame really as I could've been a contender in my own mind.

Just to add my two penneth after attending last night. First and foremost a great meeting and IMO that's the main thing. Now the issues. I was standing on the back straight and getting in was an issue. Had the Belle Vue app on the phone and got to the gates and it wouldn't open. The staff there told me this had been happening a lot and others had either gone to the ticket office or it worked the further you walked away from the stadium. I got out of the car park and it worked and opened on the road. Went back and it wouldn't scan, so they manually had to key in the barcode. Drinks we knew would be a queue, but this was a daft queue, so didn't bother all night. Final thing was it was very hard to hear the announcements. So just a bit niggly and hope it improves tonight. Racing tremendous and that's what i'll remember. 👍

Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your perspective people do listen to me,not enough imo but hey ho I have had some influence in the sport so not quite the bloke sat in the pub talking crap, ultimately I have the sport at heart and it’s not dictated to by my pockets

Very different day weather wise today. Thoroughly enjoyed last night and looking forward to later. I`ve seen some people had issues with getting in and issues with their tickets. I had no issues, yes there was a queue at the bar but that was to be expected. All in all a very successful night.

A fantastic meeting watching on TV, usually go to Cardiff, but knowing the area around belle Vue does not lead to a good social day out before the speedway, I and others I know opted out of going. Yes we missed a fellow Cumbrian Dan Bewley winning again. Going to a local club tonight to watch, just hope discovery have realised that the camera work was very poor and have called BSN to help them out . Hopefully a good racing meeting like last night and another win for Dan Bewley

I’ve never been to BSB and I’ve only been to Weston beach race when travelling back from a meeting and stopped of at Weston, yes I have been to the darts a couple of times but I’m not a fan, I went with a mate and it was amazing even though it was a couple of blokes throwing a pointed stick at a target, just to clarify

Why would they want to attend any your obvious favourite events? They were just there to watch speedway, Cardiff was a shambles for years and all this fanny about the experience, do me a favour, a joke of a fan zone so far away from stadium you needed new shoes after walking there, couple of street sellers and pubs (which every city has) so what, the GP is 2/3 hours long not all day and certainly apart from this particular time not a weekend, I suggest if you are not happy with what the majority enjoyed last night walk away, tap your keyboard and see how happy that makes you. I haven’t called anyone thick and I’m not entering a popularity contest, I’m showing you imo the wrong direction for the sport and in particular the GP , if you don’t like it then fine, couldn’t care less either way, I guessing your of a certain age and not really on the pulse of what ticks in today’s society, neither am I and quite frankly hate the things like influencers and the like but I understand the general public want to be entertained and feel like they getting the best for their pound and a one off meeting at belle vue isn’t going to attract anyone but the hard core speedway fan and no matter how good the racing is that will never change
