  1. Past hour
  2. ?????? This year's regulars are the strongest field in quite a few years. Tho injuries to key players have undermined that quality significantly.
  3. Gets rather tedious listening to him and his parrot prattle on about nothing.
  4. Big fan of Bomber but he has pretty much proved in seasons gone by he is not up to SGP level. If results go outside of existing SGP contenders Jacobsen might be the 'new blood' that many like to see.
  5. Don’t be nasty to dwarfs. Cluff mis-read(if he can) the room/stadium.
  6. Today
  7. Screen may have had more natural talent but was nowhere close to Woffy as an overall package as a rider. Smith is nowhere close to Woffy. Havelock had a good couple of years but faded pretty quickly but won a weakened world final on a patchy track. Tatum and Morton were good riders but never managed to get it done on the big stage. Loram and Collins were both more exciting to watch but only won one world title. Can’t say much about Craven as never saw him race. Woffy is our greatest ever rider and was at the top of his game for numerous years.
  8. Can't see it being 6pm, perhaps Tuesday depending on rider commitments elsewhere
  9. Yesterday
  10. New arrangements doesnt really sound like a calling off 🤷‍♀️
  11. The pinnacle for any rider is to be world champion as I say he got three of those no other UK rider has done that , I am not a huge fan of his but judged on world titles he's the best we have ever had, granted Loram, Screen and Morton were far better riders to watch on a bike.
  12. With England winning, that will be Wednesday's match off
  13. In a weak era. Stick Woffinden at his peak in the 80s and 90s, he's an also ran.
  14. Nonsense... My all time favourite rider was PC... And he was (quite probably) the best rider in the world from 76 to 78.. An incredible talent... Woffy won THREE world titles... No maybes, no might have beens, no wudda, cudda, shudda... THREE world titles...
  15. Still don't know if I'll be forced to miss speedway next week? Probably won't!
  16. Just read that ,a wise decision was never his greatest fan but he was class act on the bike and a worthy World Champion in his days.Unfortunately suffer some bad injuries(for such a safe rider) and think he is doing it for the the best reason (his health).Best of luck to him for the future.
  17. I’m a big advocate for individualism, but Kemp turning up dressed like a Spice Girls back-up dancer, then putting in a performance like that is wild. For those who missed it, the Glasgow team’s track walk consisted of six guys wearing club merchandise and tracksuits, then one wearing an oversized cream tracksuit and Bono-like blue tinted sunglasses.😂 Had it not been for Hausl’s crash and retirement, our stand-in number one would have scored zero. Mental. Hopefully Cluff’s van breaks down on the way home. Horrible little dwarf.
  18. The good: choosing to take the gates in heat 15, Tate looked properly on it, Cluff was decent, Mario superb even with the fall in his first ride. The bad: got pumped, Drew Kemp (just fire whoever booked him, he was always going to be useless), choosing gates 2&4 in heat 15 when 12 of 14 heats were won from 1&3, putting Bomber from gate 4 where there were 0 wins all night. The ugly: Cluff celebrating whilst a rider was lying motionless on the track. Really, really poor, especially as he’d ridden past Kevin twice, so he can’t blame it on ignorance.
  19. Always pleased to see a rider retire on their own terms. Wish him all the best.
  20. Sometimes speedway is about mentality and worry had that in spades
  21. Just looked at the scores and my god. What has happened to the SGP series? I remember the days of Hancock, Rickardsson, Gollob, Adams, Crump and Pedersen. The quality in the SGP series has fallen off massively.
  22. Kelvin makes a big issue of gate picks , he should know that they don’t grade track before final and there is usually a good outside line in these heats ,how many times does he doubt the riders choices.🤔👎
  23. He has showed up year after year and you very rarely see him let his British team down. Remember him coming to the UK in about 2003/4 ish and you would never of thought he would be a world champion. He rode for my side in our final year with a badly knackered shoulder and held off surgery until we had won the KO cup and will always think a lot of him for that. He has come back from many nasty injurys that would end most careers as well. Top rider and top guy.
  24. Apart from Thompsen and Kvech and the injured GP riders IMO Laguta and Emil are the one that would add something to the GP’s IMO
