So Belle Vue fans can spend their hard earned money all season only to see their top rider not being bothered in the clubs biggest meeting of the season Yes Brady has bigger fish to fry but Doyle needs a good GP to try and get a wildcard next season ….. he would not have wanted to miss Vojens …. But you didn’t see him not trying ….. I also think Bewley would have done much better in good conditions and Kurtz still wouldn’t try

Kings Lynn had a Gp star at reserve this season which didn’t do them any good in the long run All about how your team is built and Belle Vue got it wrong Having said that riders like Blodorn and Cook who are atrocious at Foxhall stepped it up massively last night only to be let down by the big 2…… can’t count Lidsey as he was never likely to do well in those conditions

The save Coventry crew won't be running the speedway though Cedric from Poole will be and I can't see him being interested in Northampton or surely he would have already done something.

May have been wise to have waited at least for the rain to have passed though, seems pointless to have had track covers on and then take them off as soon as it starts to rain, or did fireman Phil want a flooded track 🤔

Have read through the comments on Kurtz s performance last night ,have not watched the match but don t blame him for playing it safe and not doing anything too risky.I personally think that winning a world championship Gold medal is more important than winning a league championship medal.I think if you ask any rider which they would rather have they would prefer the the world championship gold

Personally I think the only chance Northampton would have of making a proper go of it is if the Save Coventry Crew (speedway side not stocks) were prepared to consider that if they ever gave up on Brandon

I do not buy into the opinion that a wet track favours the away side. It didn't favour Ipswich when they blew it in 2023, Leicester when they crumbled in last years first leg or the reigning champs last night. BV simply have not been good enough and that is the truth of the matter. We will try again next year, and get behind "throttle jockey" Brady (i find that modern term very insulting to the "throttle jockeys" that have won world titles) in his quest to win the title.

Indeed... Tracks lose income throughout the year during the qualifiers, especially on those nights that the weather may be a bit iffy, or the opposition is poor, or the team is already a shoe in for the PO's.. (Or a track hosts a double GP!)... Therefore, you would think that they would want to deliver a full house to recoup some of that lost revenue... And, as you say, do everything to facilitate it... A strange business plan..
