He kept us in it last night . To a certain extent we got away with one last night , at one point I didn't think we would reach thirty points . So it's in the fun zone , are we capable of reaching 53 against Edinburgh at home - yes we are . But likewise are Edinburgh capable of reaching 39 at Ashfield - yes they are . So the second leg should be a cracker and should draw a big crowd , bring it on .

I see low scores there. And no doubt he will have more low scores there. Belle Vue fans not bothered so can’t understand the other fans getting involved. there was a would you rather poll. Aces win league. Or Kurtz become world champion it was a massive win for Brady to be world champion #teamkurtz -
If the Monarchs had retained the 20 point lead they had at one time during the meeting the advantage was with them but I believe the Tigers will overcome a 14 point deficit at Ashfield. The heavy shower spoiled it as a spectacle but I have seen worse televised meetings to be honest. At one time it looked like all the Tigers good work during the season was going to count for nothing mainly because of a heavy downpour and agreeing to ride with a patched up team, thought they really missed Dan Thompson as Nikolai was woeful for 3 rides and then looked liked a world beater in his final outing. The Monarchs will be kicking themselves for letting the Tigers reduce the deficit over the final third of the meeting especially as Bomber rarely looks that uncomfortable.

Been there, done that, got the tee-shirt.

Bob Holness and Gazza's daughter have also been part of the ensemble of greats down the years.. No one does naff quite like UK Speedway do they?
-
That's the problem with guessing when you know nothing about it.🤪
-
Will never happen.... No one goes out on Mondays or Thursday in Poole...

I don't know if you remember but British Speedway had a tie in with some kind of celebrity talent agency for a year or two back in the 90's, you could say that they were somewhat ahead of their time with the age of celebrity we now live in but as usual it was done on the cheap so we had Hinge & Bracket at Wolverhampton once and my other abiding memory was some Marilyn Monroe lookalike on the podium with Andy Smith when he won one of his British Championships inexplicably 🤷♂️

You need a long memory to remember the last Belle Vue world champ but good luck to Brady, nice guy, always liked him at Poole. -

Bewley 4 kurtz 4 emil 5 all big more important meetings coming up yet it’s all Brady this Brady that. you guys need to give your heads a wobble. Sheer jealousy that belle Vue might have another world champion in our ranks. -
Brady wouldn’t step foot anywhere near Poole again, he’s to big for you guys now. come back to me when your clubs got the bollocks to put up a fight against us Sheffield and Ipswich,
-
They only turned up because they thought it was drag racing!
-
Well no one is riding that day, Sweden is over, so I’m guessing all clubs would be available to race that day
- Today

You can't buy a brown envelope anywhere within 100 miles of Rugby. Now we know why!

Be rather silly if we have our end of season do (the one you cant go to !), and then have a meeting to run after it, now wouldnt it ! -
I've never known Redknapp to mention speedway, I've never seen him at Poole or any other track for that matter Perhaps he's introducing Bet Victor as the new League sponsors... Triffic
-
All 3 were crap but 2 of them were always going to be crap in those conditions which is the point I'm trying to make here. Pre-Meeting expectations set for Emil and Bewley were based on rider repuation, They were never going to do anything of note in those conditions GP / Ekstraliga Play-Offs or Not. If you didn't gate you was getting filled in by bend two and both of them rarely make good gates, More often than not both riders win the majority of their races by passing riders.

Monarchs were required to use 3 guests for Jonatan Grahn, Paco Castagna and Victor Palovaara due to international call-ups, at Berwick on 26th April. Unlike you pair of torn face Tigers, we just acceped it. Anyway it makes the second leg slightly more interesting, but the blessed well behaved Weegies😇 (they now wear angels wings instead of scarves) should still overcome the nasty Monarchs at the best ever race track known to man😁
