Is It Finally Time For One League?
IainB replied to TheSmiler's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think the goal is to improve isn't it, but you need to do this from a strong foundation, 1 step back to take 2 steps forward... or you just keep jumping forward into the abyss with a model that has continued to prove time and again just doesn't work. -

There we go, well done to the promotion. I’m happy to hold my hands up and give credit, as I was one of the first to criticise. A good signing on paper, hopefully he can adapt to the tracks. -

That was just an example. If Flint is one of the top 3 Brits then obviously use him, it's not like I'm suggesting GB not put their best team out. Not that this was their best 3 anyway. -
Prediction of 2025 Championship league

Redcar are sleep walking into mid table mediocrity, no plan to replace Riss? Mulford misses a lot of matches?Berwick just signed a new rider, but we just keep getting what guests are ‘available”very frustrating! Was going to say, can’t be bothered, but as we’ve only had one home match in eight weeks, that task has been already taken care of.last one out, turn off the lights. -

Not if you use weighted averages [1993 being the precedent] -

Yes, Pirates TV cover all Poole home matches when BSN are not streaming there. https://livestream.poole-speedway.com

As you say Flint was never going to be the difference between winning and losing and there is little to choose between him and Drew Kemp so the obvious answer was to take Kemp on this occasion. What team does Flint ride for in the Polish league?

Do Poole provide a streaming service?

Your R.E.D Bandits are delighted to announce the signing of Danish star Jonas Jeppesen! Jonas replaces injured captain Danyon Hume in the lineup and goes straight into the side for this weekend’s matches against Glasgow. -
I once saw Craig Cook have a temper tantrum in the pits, lock himself in the changing room ... If he has these mental problems, how is it that he has a licence?

I was stood on the first bend & because of the air fence I couldn’t see the gap. After watching the clip on line it’s clear the referee got it 100% correct. The terraces given Kerr a hard time & booing was totally understandable given what was a stake. If it had been the other way round & at Saddlebow Road the Lynn fans would have done the same. It shows passion from the supporters, adds atmosphere & provided a massive talking point.

If the plan all along was for Flint to be a non-riding reserve, should they just have taken someone else who didn't have a British league match that weekend? Drew Kemp for example? No offence to Flint, but he's not going to be the difference between GB winning & losing. Plus how much "experience" can he gain just by taking part in practice (if they had one). Of course if the plan was to share out the rides, but Flint was clearly slowest in practice, more understandable. -

Seems a terrible attitude to have, does that mean you don't mind riders risking injury as long as they're not heat leaders? -

Speedway must be one of the few things in life where the goal is to become weaker & not improve. -

Flint missed the Glasgow meeting to be a reserve in a European Pairs meeting on the Saturday, where he didn’t even get a ride. If I was a Glasgow fan I wouldn’t be happy with that at all. -
Cant say I blame him with the sh#te track week in week out!
