  1. Past hour
  2. Forgive me for not believing hardly anything people write on here 😂 most people just want to feel important and in the know 😆
  3. What a stupid comment. So what are fans supposed to do? Fans don’t buy clubs or invest in them, they support them, that’s in essence the fan doing their part.
  4. Oh but they do Shano. @flagrag said so. Cracking GP rider at number 1 đŸ‘đŸ»
  5. There’s a world of difference between disclosing the intricacies of financials and delicate negotiations, and issuing general broader updates to keep supporters loosely in the loop.
  6. Remember when he said “when the town does well then so do the witches” Well, town are now second, and the witches don’t have any riders, a league, or even a buyer. - IF the likes of Brennan, Rew, King, Edwards, Jenkins and maybe Ellis are all waiting to hear about Ipswich then how much longer can you realistically wait as a rider. Soon decisions will be made and Ipswich will eventually ride (or not) but we a depleted team and fans won’t be happy. You cannot then have comments about “at least we have speedway to watch” because Louis himself said the club will be left in safe hands and good state, I’m sorry but that will not be the case if the above happens.
  7. Unless you/we/I run a promotion or help to fund it then we have no right to be more than the mushrooms in this situation. Wait and see. If someone invests cash and time into it, then we can enjoy it. If not, and we do nothing constructive ourselves, we have no right to complain when there's no speedway in our town.
  8. Thats life and in particular business in general - there is a similar process ongoing at SWFC - of course the concept of proof of funds is important (its 50m in the case of Wednesday) as is the fit and peroper persons test, I wonder if they have that in Speedway! (it hasn't made much difference in football)
  9. This was said this time last year too. I’m not sure he has the consistency to do that but we’ll see.
  10. Looks like we’re going to have to wait and see what transpires on Tuesday. If anything!
  11. A better looking KL team. In last years league it still wouldn’t be fancied to win the league but with a weaker league you’d have to say it’s a solid lineup. if Kvech can get up to a 8 point average they will be hard to beat at home
  12. It's relevant to speedway if Danny claims paternity leave and can't attend the BSPL AGM on 6th?!😇😝 Take a chill pill Lewy. Happy New Year.
  13. He ain’t going to announce anything that might devalue his “property” Although with every passing day that tractor start gate and air fence are deflating in value.
  14. and I wouldn’t be reading too much into Matt Fords return to the Uk , other than the rules of residency surrounding Brexit. I guess Matt prefers to remain a UK citizen , rather than. French citizen .
  15. Well no not at all. It was Louis himself that didn’t do what you’ve suggested. HE was the one putting the timescale on a potential sale, so when that then come to pass it was obviously ramp up the concerns of the supporters. Why would he be “damned” if he now came out and told the supporters that talks were still ongoing? At least that would give the supporters something to cling on to. Alternatively, if it’s all gone t!ts up, tell them. At least it would put them out of their misery. Either way, an update of some sort should now be forthcoming. There’s concerned supporters out there waiting for news on a daily basis. Must be like pulling teeth! Supporters as always, treated like mushrooms.
  16. Today
  17. Couldn’t disagree with you more. All about opinions isn’t it.
  18. Dammed if he does, dammed if he doesn’t. Frankly the most appropriate statement would/should be “No further updates will be issued until there is something in place to report”. Until that point. No news is indeed
.no news.
  19. A lot of the nasty comments comes from other fans or people that are not fans just stirrers.
  20. Well done Poole have more pages than plymouth! Most people wouldn't see that as a win especially when you read the content.
  21. It is comparing a a WTCQ and two GP's though... To hold a GP can cost the organiser well over ÂŁ100k which is paid to the rights holders.. And then flights and hotels for FIM people and riders... At circa 7000 capacity you will need to charge some big numbers to make any money after that considerable outlay... It will be interesting to see if after last years "novelty" of being the first GP at the NSS, whether demand will be the same this year...
  22. We all know the situation but if Poole lost their track there would be no point in discussing on here a new track at a secret location, with opposition and no hope of a planning application, need more positivity
  23. It's a rough situation, his official average is 6.74. Pretty much a heatleader figure for most teams next season. If you was the Sheffield management, you'd have to be bonkers not to take advantage, would you not??
  24. This should be good. Tell us all why fans shouldn't be cynical about British Speedway?? Ya know, the British Speedway that has constant track closures, supporters not returning year on year, excessive admission increases for a weak product. A league that, as of right now, has 4 teams. I await the answer to what the whole of the British public is missing out on!?!
  25. Yesterday
  26. So it'll have to be delayed for a further week, but if they do, nobody will know of course
