  1. Past hour
  2. While they're hammering the likes of Ippo & Leicester like they are they're easily going to pickup the bonus and seem pretty unbeatable over 2 legs of a play off (at the moment)

  4. I get it and I'm not calling them out, all I'm saying is talk is cheap. Promote your club\event, introduce your changes and then sing it from the hilltops 📢
  5. I think that's a bit harsh on some of the riders, it's only a few years since Scott got 14 at the NSS and Bangs did ok in the world cup or whatever it's called plus Lawson has also done ok there before. When you miss the start you're not going to overhaul a Belle Vue rider, as King and Musielak found out. You have to give credit to Belle Vue, their riders are so good around there I don't see them being beaten, it's their away performances that will be key to winning the title this season, which I think they will. It's a game of two halves so let's see what happens Thursday but I still think King and Nicholls should swap riding positions.
  6. A proper thrashing - only Danny emerges with credit really but move on!
  7. He’s been here less than four months Iain.
  8. He is hardly going to come in and say - well everyone i intend to run this into the ground, but as ever people have the attention spans of gnats and expect success to be achieved with either no investment or overnight. Why everyone is judging them after 3 months and that's why we are on our 7th PM in 10 years!
  9. If they hadn't have taken over the series then who would have? I really do wonder what goes through peoples minds sometimes do they not see the evidence in front of them? - the GB SGP has gone from Cardiff to Belle Vue and the Danish one from Parken to Vojens - think people think!! The speedways of nations was a terribly badly attended event the other year even the final had a half empty stadium in Poland! There is periodic calls to re-run one down under - completely overlooking the fact that each time one has been run the event has lost shedloads for the relevant promoters!
  10. The track has never been the same since they changed the shale to the current clay surface, the racing used to be so much better.
  11. It’s great that a fan who puts a few video’s up on you tube has done more than the FIM,Mayfield Sports and WBD combined have done and put on to you tube the SGP 3 final video. Hopefully the powers that be won’t claim copyright and get it taken down. Enjoy !!! https://youtu.be/wOuJNWOIhoU?si=zPmedqmMAyblE7gp
  12. It needs a complete overhaul, a fresh promotion with different ideas and a different attitude. Until that happens, then I’m afraid you’re right. Fair play to the loyal band of supporters who keep turning up though. They’ve had little to cheer for years, but there remains a decent core of support. The potential is there.
  13. It sounds very much like the crowning of a new PM, they always sound very impressive when stood on the steps of downing street with all their big plans, once the door closes behind them and the reality sets in they soon find that they can't really do anything and we end up with business as usual
  14. The current promotion have pretty much zero ambition and until that changes Lynn will always be around the bottom of the table
  15. Not sure I agree with “there’s no chance Ipswich or Leicester should be above this Kings Lynn septet” comment. I always thought there was very little between the three of them. All three have weaknesses in different areas of the team. From an Ipswich perspective, we’ve made a cup final and sit in a play off place with our senior reserve contributing next to nothing. Bangs was supposed to be our “trump card” at reserve, he’s been anything but. If he’d scored what was originally hoped, or we’d signed our initial target (Thorssell) we’d have been challengers. Lynn always had issues for me. Despite the fanfare around Rushen, he’s still only 16 and was/will have slumps this year. The high average of Fricke left a big problem with a 1-5 rider who Lynn were always going to have to carry, and the biggest mistake of all was re-signing Cook. Everybody saw his “commitment” previously, why on earth would anyone think “yeah we’ll have some more of that”? Poor signing. Lynn, Ipswich and Leicester all look a similar standard to me. Leicester possibly slightly the better of the three as it stands.
  16. Today
  17. You’re very unlikely to get a single point from Nicholls there. It’s one thing scoring double figures on a piddly little track like Plymouth in the Championship, it’s another entirely when you visit a track where you need pace in the top flight. IF we visit the NSS again this year in the play offs, he won’t score a point then either. You’re also going to get next to nothing from Nicholls, Lawson and Bangs combined there. The result is a thumping as expected. Take your point though, the scale of the defeat was probably a bit more than hoped. It was never going to be anything else. The likes of TTT suddenly have it in for the new owners, which I don’t understand personally. They came in at the end of February so this season was always going to be a write off. If you’re ever going to have a “write off” Season, then this abomination of a season is the perfect time to have it! By all accounts speaking to those that have had dealings with him (Arch on here for one) Coleman strikes an impressive figure and has big plans ahead for the club. People need to get off his back and stop the cry arsing a few months in to his reign. It’s a bit embarrassing to be honest.
  18. There was indeed that's a fair point he was a different breed that fella major smashes all the time and yet like the terminator he just kept coming but I do think for 99% of the time you need to avoid the big dings I think Holder snr could have had 2-3 world titles but he had two really bad crashes plus Darcy Ward crash even now he's still a great rider but he lost that extra 5% the top 1-2% really top tier have.
  19. Personally didn't think the side looked to bad on paper a genuine number 1 two out of three of the best british youngsters currently out there , yes Castanga weak but I think its down to the other three riders being inconsistent.
  20. At least the new club logo looks nice 😁
  21. I was one of those who thought we should have gone & brought Jason back in. However if you look at the team I’m not sure how that happens. Two changes possibly three to make it work for us to be any better. As many have said this year is a free pass let’s get though it the real test will be this winters team building. Tomorow nights announcement on future plans could also be telling.
  22. Deffo back to tractor racing now that Gary O’neil is at Ipswich!
