Redcar are looking strong, Berwick a bit hit and miss but I’d rate them higher than Scunthorpe. Oxford were always over-rated, in my view and, without Riss, need Sam to be hitting nearly 15 points per meeting. Plymouth looked handy for a while, even though losing Barker for a to injury was always a when, not an if, but having King missing is really hurting them. Which I think leaves Workington. The pre-season gamble, some call it folly, has proved all the doubting Thomas’s right. Maybe their only success this year will be snatching the wooden spoon away from Scunthorpe.
