  1. Past hour
  2. That was a fantastic meeting, Kyle unlucky to lose a chain chasing second place, Redcar reserves too strong for ours and Jody was better than his points. Both teams deserved to be on the truck at the end. If we don't get through in any of the competitions, I hope Redcar win.
  3. You'll be late if you go tomorrow night as the meeting starts at 1pm so Mulford and Bomber can get to Holland for the Longtrack on Sunday.
  4. Was great to see passionate away fans making some noise on the back straight, Redcar did what they needed to do, all their riders chipped in, special shout out to Ace he has been on some form recently and showed his improvement in that excellent heat 14, can't imagine him doing that last year. Dan seemed low on power all night and Harris and Villads needed a few heats to get their equipment sorted (Villads seemed to find a rocketship between heat 6 and 8) which gave the Bears the advantage which was hard to claw back with the class of Wright and King. Hopefully this is a bit of a kick up the backside for the tigers and they can show why they finished top of the league in all the return legs.
  5. Teams with a good reserve will always be problem if Glasgows Top 5 are having an ordinary night.Their reserves have not shown any improvement over the season. The tie is not over yet though.
  6. Not a great result, but it’s a win and all to play for tomorrow night. Our team building strategy dictated that we just can’t afford for Harris and Howarth (I appreciate his was a retirement while third) to run last places. If they do, we need double figures from elsewhere. Credit to Redcar as that’s a great result. Add that to the result at Poole and the Bears are looking at a strong end to the season. I haven’t saw any team news, but I can only assume we’ll be missing Nagel tomorrow night to Danish commitments, Thompson to SGP2, Flint to German commitments and Perry to karate lessons. More guests than a Beckham wedding.
  7. He put his focus onto what is important! - the remainder of the meeting! The exclusion the moment it happens becomes a bygone so not worth expending the energy over it - seems to have worked too as I think Leicester favourites now - great effort from the Lions given the first 4-6 heats!
  8. Great performance by the Bears, just got to wonder what might of happened if we had our original guest! Sure Morris would have done better than 3Points!! Ironically when we were at Glasgow in the league the same rider(Zischke)scored double figures against us guesting for Glasgow!!
  9. Our 6 point win looks pretty good right now seeing the score from tonight at Glasgow.
  10. Another great performance for the Bears. Hopefully they can dispatch Glasgow at home, Oxford in the KOC and the drunken sailors in the playoff semi! 👍 Shame Morris wasn't fit for this tonight as probably would have been an away win.
  11. I think even with a squad of 7 you would end up with alot of sub standard teams turning up, No GP riders will do friday Saturday, Sunday meetings. Extra league riders would be missing much of the time. I think to merge the leagues you would have to lower the standard considerably, say good bye to the riders who wish to ride polish League and replace them with doubling up national league riders (you would need 7 additional riders). Not popular opinion on here but I would try to convince a team to change race night, move up to make it a 6 team league and fufil the tv contract, Redcar? Glasgow?
  12. Today
  13. Would be very happy with them 5 mentioned. Then all it would be is finding a reliable 3 and 4. Or potentially going big on a 3 and another gamble at 4. worked for Poole in the past having a big 1 3 5. Cairns and Rushen will be an exciting reserve partnership but both will be capable of 0, 0, 0. Hagon on a 3.33 would be on my radar, I wonder if he’s doing Australia again once he recovers from his injury
  14. Anyone have any details regarding u k company Mayfield Sports Ltd becoming FIM global promoter for the next six seasons. Will it make a difference or is this WBD bailing out and just transmitting meetings.
  15. The Leicester promotion have the visibility issue in hand and free carrots are to be handed out to spectators upon entry.
  16. R87 is just a wind-up merchant looking for attention. Everything that he says is complete boll*cks and as someone quite rightly pointed out, he is a liar. The contradictions are laughable. Bizarre that he spends time on a forum about a sport that he continually derides and can’t be more negative about. Such odd behaviour.
  17. The BSN semi-final isn’t on BSN.😂 This sport is the gift that just keeps giving.

  20. Everyone hoping the weather holds out for Monday I’m hoping can see the bloody racing. Please Promotors sort the lights out so we can see. Was at Vojens last weekend compared to us it looked like we was inside with the lights on
  21. That is true but I always took no notice as I have always said talk is cheap.
