Charles Wright, Jason Edwards and Jody Scott would be my first 3 signings. Sounds like Jake Allen will be there too, not a fan personally but he's solid enough I guess. I wouldn't mind someone like Luke Harrison or Connor Mountain at number 2. It's hard to say until the final average limits are out though. 1. Charles Wright 8.89 2. Luke Harrison 4.98 3. Jason Edwards 6.44 4. Jake Allen 6.53 5. Leon Flint 6.96 6. Jody Scott 3.82/Ace Pijper 4.04 7. Max Perry 2.29/2.00er 39.91/39.84

Thanks for reply Deano kinda what I thought. Of course you have the riders who once the green light illuminates open the throttle fully & keep it pinned til the tapes rise and those who use the same method to 'warm a bike up' from cold (!), cringe, prepare to duck the flying shrapnel.... - Yesterday

Howarth was a beaten man after Heat 15. They should have tried one of the other two in the superheat imo.
-
Personally I would have gone with flint
-
But Thompson looked slow in heat 12 when Kerr picked him off. So did Howarth in heat 13. This season, Howarth had been absolutely outstanding for Tigers in last heat deciders. It's easy to pick the riders after the event, but I think that picking Howarth was the right call. Clearly it didn't work out, but there is no guarantee that picking Thompson or Flint would actually have worked

Absolutely, it's just a pity that his back was so sore that night that he couldn't turn up at Ashfield and prove the internet doubter trolls wrong. On a more positive note it's fantastic that his back improved so much overnight that he could take part in the individual meeting at Poole the next day and that he was well enough to get second

So does there seem to be murmurings than a one over 8.00 rule will come in next year then.

Think a major shake up is required, do have simular concerns with Rowe tbh I think we need him back to no3 and for him to stay there all of the season,I feel like we need a no5 rider but one who has the capabilities to stay with us for a few years someone who will allways be a championship rider and not getting riders in fir a couple of seasons and they then move on.

Well done and congrats to Gavin Parr and his Bears. It was nip and tuck upto heat 10 andToby's crash when on a 5-1, which knocked the stuffing out of the Pirates. There was some good racing, some great passes (nb. Glasgow fans) and both teams had some gating success (nb. Glasgow fans), but the Bears were just that bit better overall.

1. C. Wright 8.88 2. J. Mulford 4.26 3. J. Allen 6.53 4. J. Edwards 6.43 5. E. Riss 7.12 6. A. Pijper 4.18 7. 2.60

Lawson distracted by home stuff over the last month, Cook did ride slowly in ht 14 9 check the ht time)but probably knew Starke was no where near quick enough, Rowe was pants and really needs to step up next yer or the team building that is planned will be exposed. Kerr was poor but got shat on at Redcar not getting ht 15. Toby needs to keep his right foot on the footrest and then he would not lose control so easily. Tobies crash though did not make a difference as Scott and Milford falls lost more points.

1 to go? 1. R. Lawson 9.58 2. B. Bailey 4.00 3. 7.60 4. F. Bowes 5.63 5. A. Rowe 7.38 6. W. Cairns 3.81 7. C. Rushen 2.00

Wright Palm Toft Edwards Pijper Allen Scott Mulford No idea on points. Straight choice between Wright and King, there is only one choice. If Riss is fit then he goes in at 5 for Allen.

Can we keep Kurtz for home matches and Bewley for away ones please?
