Plymouth v Edinburgh Championship 27th June
jbell1995 replied to eide67's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Congratulations to the Monarchs who thoroughly deserved the victory and were possibly value for a little more. Gladiators simply never got going. Only led once as I alluded to in the commentary and looked off it all night. Incredible support from the Monarchs fans and great to see the riders acknowledge that at the end. Great spirit between all fans at the end mingling and talking. Close competitive sport, good crowd, great weather - it's what it's all about. The Coliseum has once again served up a thrilling end to proceedings, shame the home side were on the wrong end of it this time around but still so much to play for. Scott Nicholls - Incredible performance. Ran out of adjectives for him. -

Poole promotion have only themselves to blame for the aggregate loss. Signing a rider who then commits to another Wednesday night club. It's laughable. Then he doesn't ride for the danish club ??? Should a facility have been given to Poole - he was withholding his services ?? Bit silly on Wednesday prepping a slick dustbowl with Harris as a guest. Unsurprisingly he didn't score heavily. Dumping Dan Gilkes unceremoniously with indecent haste in favour of the rejected Kyle Newman .... little sympathy for the promotion on that one. Billy Cairns off in a circus qualifier š Gust failed to deliver even on a Poole's pay. Copper Rushen ... that's 2 referees in 4 days he has got on the wrong side of. one at home one away. I cannot comment. My only video footage shows the lad's recent altercation with Luke Harrison. Coooper "boring" down the backstraight and he should have been excluded then.

we are not going to just replicate Poland and get the same results, most of the stadiums have not got he facilities, to enable a enjoyable event. went too pila last week, nice little stadium, good viewing area's and plenty of room for all drinking and eating facilities, and obviously its the younger spectators what makes the atmosphere. went to the local aqua park where there was a big trophy at the entrance what the speedway team had won , big advert in the carpark announcing the next meeting. enjoyed that meeting as much as i did the Wroclaw gp gorzow and zielon gora meetings.

Exactly, first time Poole havenāt made a final basically since they dropped down and itās lose your mind time and change half team in Dorsetā¦ā¦. On the other side what an effort from the Bandits, all 6 of them tonight were immense. A first final since the Young Shield if memory serves me right, itās been a long time coming and Iām sure the Bandits fans will be out in force both home and away, letās face it weāve had plenty years to save up for the trip to Plymouth.

Gilkes scored 8 points today at Workington and finished 3rd in the individual section of the meeting behind Kemp and Foord

Looking at the heat 10 incident unless Cooper has eyes in the back of his head he can't possibly have known Etheridge was there, looks like Rushen moved out as Kerr went to the kerb just as Etheridge was attempting the outside run. Just one of those unfortunately. Certainly not a 'disgrace' and Cooper incredibly unfortunate to be chucked out. Etheridge made himself look a proper plank afterwards.

Just saw the incident on BSNās social media and itās one of those that could be debated forever. I think itās a bit reckless from Rushen. I can see why the referee made the decision, but I can also see Poole fansā point of view. Not on board with Etheridge mimicking ācome hereā with his finger to Rushen, then clipping him on the way past. Would he have done that if it was Kerr or Lambert? Absolutely not. Well done Berwick though. A great club with good people, a fascinating track I love and a lovely part of the country. Buzzing to see the Bandits in a final.
