Does the Star article say he's returning to Plymouth or just the UK?
-
It wouldn't be the same if he didn't have a pop at Poole, like you said, consintrate on Workington 2027 riders or lack of it
-
Hasn't there got to be 2 under 21s? Meaning 1 could still be a Wroclaw under 21

Just a small revision š.

So we are running then, i havenāt even heard that for definite unless Iāve buried my head in the sand.

You would have hoped the tie up would see Ipswich open the door to Polish riders who would therefore improve the quality of our top division. To see them take two ex Colts is disappointing and more a vindication of our development program (others take note). Once again itās over promise and under deliver from another in a long line of here today gone tomorrow promoters skilled in talking the talk but lacking in positive actions. Self interested glory hunters, like we need more of them.

Surprised @lewyhasn't been along to announce this š

Riders are now employed on a self employed basis, so no one can say where they ride at the following year, you put out an offer or ask how much they want, then hope they ride for you, it's a bit like you getting a new kitchen/bathroom you get quotes / offers then decide who you go with if available . I'm not on cairns back it's a forum and that's my opinion, I did say he rode well at worky

IF weāve signed Cairns we havenāt āpoachedā him from anyone. Heās currently out of contract (unless heās signed one for 2027).

Typical anti Poole bile from Nellie. Lawson had 23 bonus points, Cairns 13. If you take a worst case and reverse these, so give Cairns the 23, he still has an average in excess of 6. Get off Cairns back and give him credit for his own achievements. And maybe turn some of your bile towards your own 2026 riders, several of whom seem keen to get away

Makes sense for Belle Vue to keep Norick and Tate then get some new talent at the bottom of the team. I mean where else are opposing teams supposed to get their heatleaders and number ones from in seasons to come. #wemakeemtheytakeem1928

Daft as it will sound to the inward thinking majority who run this sport but we should all be working together to ensure Robert lines up at Kings Lynn. If done correctly the PR the sport in the UK could get from his presence as World Champion at his home town club could be priceless. Couple this with the blossoming career of Cooper and itās a UK PR dream. I just cannot see the shortsighted self interested brigade backing this in any way.

So is the only reason for the Wroclaw deal to get Bewley? I thought it was going to help get the u21 rider over to Ipswich, not just poach Cairns from BV as the u21 - if you go from the rumours and suggested teams in this thread.

Teams and Fixtures blog for 2027
PolskiZuzel replied to stewmac's topic in International World of Speedway
Thank you stewmac. It looks great. -
It will be Rasmus Pedersen not Bastian, Bastian far too good to be signing for Workington.
-
I havenāt seen him race but he did seem fast and confident when he did some laps at Berwick. Iād definitely like to see how he goes in the uk.

Beau Bailey Phil ?

King's Lynn Stars 2027
Daniel Smith replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Most don't care about ex riders as a whole, but when said rider is one of your own i.e. local, developed through the youth system and looks like a promising talent, one is now a current World Champion, it's the only thing King's Lynn and it's fans can hang their hat on. The 2027 septet absolutely must have Lambert, Rushen and Scott in it. It's imperative -
Any reason nobody's trying to tempt Throssell given he is rumored to be on a crazy low average if Lynn or Northampton don't end up with a number one it would make the need to get him in the team a shoe in I would have though could he start at reserve or would the new rules prohibit that ?
-
Would anyone be tempted to run with a No.4 around the 6.00 mark and then go with someone like Jason Edwards or Joe Thompson @ No.2 with a view to Cairns moving out of reserve after the first set of averages?
