  2. Where’s all this talk about Cairns leaving come from?
  3. Yesterday
  4. Photo's from Totoras Argentina weekend https://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/2946/tim-neave-wereldkampioen-flat-track-na-historisch-en-spectaculair-wk-weekend-in-argentinie
  5. I raced in the same practices and amateur meetings when he was a couple years younger, 13/14 and he thought he was god's gift to man. Every rider had to wait their turn in the queue to go out but not Will, he thought he could just push to the front and go out when he wanted. Riders like Luke Harrison, Max James and Freddy Hodder were also there and waited just like everyone else. Even the odd times the likes of Steve Worrall and Max Clegg turned up, they waited. I used to hate it when you got to the front of the queue, adrenaline starting to pump, you get yourself all fired up and then 'Will's going out next, you're going to have to wait' proper makes you feel sick in your helmet. And all he ever did for the extra time he got on the track compared to everyone else was practice wheelies. I know he was 'just a kid' at the time, but he's an adult now and doesn't seem to have matured at all, in fact his head seems bigger than ever. Perhaps he needs a couple of seasons at a small club to knock him down a peg or two. Was a little rubbish in the pits too.
  6. I would go to 6 rider teams, 5 rides each. Encourage unattached riders to take guest bookings. Ideally the NL & Champ should be closer together to help riders stepping up, so don't lower the NL points limit. Having such a weak NL won't help riders make the step up to the Champ. I don't mind experienced riders like Lambert or Bowtell in the NL, give the next generation someone to aim to beat, once you can beat them, you know you have a chance at stepping up?
  7. Up until a couple of weeks ago that was looking like the team apart from Np6 however as always happens in Speedway things change and riders change their minds other options become available so team has to change . I wouldn’t be surprised if Leicester were to have Two GP riders in 2027 if logistics can be sorted soon
  8. Has happened before could happen again 🤔
  9. Depending on other signings, this could give a solid side with reserves at 3 - 4.5 points maybe dayle wood and Nicolas holm jacobson, where the top heavy sides will have two 2 points ish reserves
  10. Depends if we are pushing for mediocrity.
  11. All signings subject to approval by the BSPL. So any teams current plans can be blown out of the water by promoters spitting their dummies out.
  12. Allen instead of palmsoft and hunt for another rider for mountain’s replacement , better team than last year imb
  13. Redcar really are the most clicky club in the league really old pals act look after your mates.
  14. He grew another helmet size this year towards the end, do him good to move on for experience
  15. I can think of 3 possible reasons: 1 Lawson knew Cairns wasn't going to be invited back so it worked for Poole 2 Lawson was just looking after himself and his average and it just happened to affect Cairns 3 He wasn't, Cairns was just beating him It held Bewley back for one season whilst he adjusted. Could be the same for Cairns hence Poole letting him go?
  16. Jake Allen has posted on Facebook theat Redcar don't want hime next season
  17. Just seen that Jake Allen is not wanted by Redcar next season, could be a good solid signing for comets along with batch and antti 🤔
  18. Forget Mauger and Briggs; the Commonwealth riders were considered British. However, Ronnie Moore was Australian, Bob Andrews was English, and Graham Warren was born in Fiji, I believe...
  19. Think Redcar have got rid of the wrong rider I feel Edwards should have gone and gone with a top 4 of Wright King Allen Scott Jake Allen much more consistent than Edwards imo.
  20. Get that, also he has had a massive teen growth spurt, which may hinder him on a speedway bike
  21. To be honest I thought Lawson was poor at times last season, nothing to do with him letting Cairns win races. I think both their averages are accurate, not higher or lower than they should be.
