Watch Stead’s interview it’s comedy gold Blames the ref!!! Flint was lucky in heat one as Fricke never touched him Etheridge dropping a chain and deliberately touching the tapes Then says Rowe and Howarth was a normal first corner … not when one rider collects another lol Was good seeing him choking up though the clown

Yeah. Sam was just "looking after himself" wasn't he when he shielded Kemp for 4 laps in heat 6 tonight. -

Well no, what I'm saying is that Masters while being a talented/fast rider, I wouldn't want him riding for my preferred club because when your backs against the wall he gives in, I think he's flakey, remember the end of last season. He really needs somebody like Nicholls to motivate him. Against Poole his motivation was personal, he just didn't want to be beaten by Lawson yet again, before heat 15 how many times in a row was it? He's motivation is about himself not the team. - Today

Well summed up there tbh this year we have been no where near as convincing as last year too many inconsistency in this years team, think I’m expecting a young exciting team next year . with rumours that I’ve seen could be Lawson Rowe Beau Bailey Cairns Rushen Don’t want Cook and Kerr think we need a clean slate Cook has been with us for years and he needs to move on or Poole move him on feel he focuses on top flight more and he’s never been a double figure performer for us and Kerr just to unreliable for me. Thomsen has improved this year but feel like there’s not loads of improvement there maybe another 0.50 but that’s it. Saying all of that we will need to find a middle order rider will be interesting to see how we go as it’s definitely an opportunity for Poole management to freshen things up next year.

Cracking meeting that was another brilliant play off match. A true team effort there from Leicester showed plenty of determination to get that back from a 14pt deficit. Max Fricke and Sam Masters dominating those big heats will be enough to see Leicester through to the final imo,Jack Holder again a low score in the play offs at home done that last year aswell.

You are correct, large crowds encourage sponsorship opportunities & healthy improvement in further growth of attendance.

CLASS!!!!!! So very, very true. Well done Bojangles - properly nailed on, I would say - and by his OWN WORDS too. Great Post.

To be clear. Without specific sponsorship, meeting the cost of top riders would not be possible from gate receipts which do not even cover other related costs.

Exactly. Let’s face it, Flint was lucky to get away with the incident in the first race. Having seen it a few times, there is hardly any evidence of contact from Fricke. The ref bottled it in my opinion, if in doubt favour the home team. As for heat 14, Howarth was clearly taken out (can’t go by Tatum’s comments, he was embarrassing again tonight). Just because the incident happened on the first bend, it is not an automatic restart with all four back. There was plenty of room between the two riders and Rowe drifted over and clouted Howarth. If that had happened anywhere else in the race it would never have been questioned, so why should this first bend incident be any different?

Was that because of covid, Poole didn't run in 2020
