Isn't it though.Someone(might have been Mies van der Rohe,Le Corbusier or another foreign architect)said "God is in the detail"......and this seems to prove them right.Nice one :t:

Yes. Well done Newcastle Speedway. Typical generosity and thoughtfulness of Geordies. Birmingham made a similar gesture with free hot drinks and cakes at the Perry Barr Press and Practice Day, which was also much appreciated by those of us there.

I attended the Official Practice at Newcastle Speedway's Brough Park on Sunday and I have rarely been so cold in my life. Imagine my surprise then, when I went to the Track Shop to get a couple of Bovrils, I was given my Drinks and I offered my money for payment and was told "That is quite all right the Hot Drinks are Free of Charge".

I would like to THANK the Newcastle Promotion for this. On a day as cold as Sunday they probably could have made a real killing on Hot Drinks - BUT - they looked after the welfare of their Supporters (Customers) instead.

I think that this was a tremendous gesture in these tight Financial times. I, for one, will always be grateful for this effort.

Once again - Many Thanks Newcastle Speedway.

Oh!!! - The Drink warmed me up beautifully too.

Bet you wished they'd had lap dancers too.

I know that refreshments were served from the pits hut - although I didn't know they were free - they kept it pretty quiet, not deliberately I'm sure! :D
