A 'B' sample cannot be a Breath test sample as it must be available to be tested/re-tested at a later date if required - either at the rider's request or by the FIM/WADA.

Of course it can since the rules says that breath test is an approved method for measuring of a riders alcohol level,

two tests are being made to establish that the rider is below or above the allowed limit.

You do understand that a breath test is not possible to save for later use?

Could use a balloon and tie a knot in it?

I just took a look at the Ward Twitter page and some of the comments from his last post about it. With the guy surrounded by so many sycophants from manager to fans posting silly messages like this it is no wonder the guy constantly goes wrong.

Keep the faith Darcy Any Decent and sensible speedway fan behind you 100% We want that as much as you Class is permanent

It is really sad to see how so many idolise the chap for doing wrong. It sums up what I have thought for many years about the average speedway fan lol.

Many of those that have commented really are stupid aren't they, hard to disagree with your description there. All making out the FIM are in the wrong, none pointing out Ward's own actions being the instigator in all of this.

Not idolise, just think his ban has been harsh enough for the mistake he made perhaps .....

You've just got to be kidding.

What about his colleagues who could have been killed by his actions? Thank God they weren't.

What about the image of our Sport? Has he not brought Speedway in to disrepute?

He simply MUST have a twelve month Ban, at least, to maintain the credibility of our Sport.

I love watching Ward ride - but - for the good of Speedway, and probably for Ward as well a Ban would be appropriate. It would give him some time for reflection.

He missed the last two months of the season so not much of a ban really is it ? FIM are doing there job correctly, yes slow but the same for everyone at the end of the day.

He didn't make a mistake, he deliberately got himself drunk (which made him still being under the influence of alcohol the next day) .

An action he very well would known the consequences of since it wasn't the first time he was in this situation.

If you drink allot of alcohol you know that it will stay in your system for more the a couple of hours.

I wonder if you and many others would have thought the same if he had ridden in that GP, been involved in a crash that caused another rider to be injured and been tested after the meeting and found over the limit?

I think the FIM are taking the p-ss, or they are far from sure of their conviction.

If that were the case surely they would've thrown out this case last Friday after Ward had had his say.
