dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,710 Posted November 13, 2014 thats a classic from an Ipswich fan!!my post wasnt meant to be a pop at Scunny - no other club has done as much in recent times to provide opportunties for new British riders. It was much more a lament at the continuing erosion generally. By the way Ipswich has a decent record of using/nurturing British riders when measured against the norm. Certainly when taking into account restrictive stadium use conditions which means any practice outside meeting days is impossible.

spin king 1,923 Posted November 13, 2014 Will his average be 7? Not too sure, I would guess that it will be 5 myself due to not riding in any of the major league and his age.
bullet 72 Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) All depends if any league he has ridden in enough for an average is classed as professional. Will make the difference between 7 and 5 Edited November 13, 2014 by The Scunthorpe bullet
spin king 1,923 Posted November 13, 2014 All depends if any league he has ridden in enough for an average is classed as professional. Will make the difference between 7 and 5 Looking at his records he has mostly rode in Finland and Estonia. Rode one meeting in Poland for Lodz in the Polish League and a challenge match for Lodz as well. My guess is he will be on an assessed average of 5.

CaptainAudi 147 Posted November 14, 2014 From Cat 3: Riders not riding in a Professional Speedway League and Commonwealth or USA(to a maximum of 4 each season) Riders new to British Speedway? Cat 3:5.00 Finland and Estonia won't come under the "professional league" banner will they? And if has only ridden 1 official match for Lodz, then I'm assuming he won't have an established average, so I'm guessing he will be in category 3, so will be on a 5.00 average.
