So with the Coventry B fixture now scheduled in for 27 July it looks like there will only be one more 2015 meeting at Lakeside after the end of next month (31 July).

Really. That's crazy when still a whole month left of the season

Good luck to Ashley. Reserves have been a weak spot this year for Lakeside.

In reality the Hammers could do with further changes but as I - and others - have remarked elsewhere, that is far easier said than done.

I know Neal Vatcher gets a lot of criticism on here from time to time, but i'd just like to publicly thank the BSPA for organising it, and him for coming to Macon in the south of France straight from last Fridays meeting and spending all day and evening at Adam's side. He was on top of the game in terms of motivation, points needed and keeping Adam calm. We were unlucky not to get the win, but to be only a point behind a quick Czech and in front of some fast Poles and Germans was a great feeling .

Onwards and upwards to the final in Denmark.

I'd be surprised if the BSPA had any involvement as they have told Stefan he will get no assistance during the world U21 even though he's the first Brit for years to qualify.

Any help can be given at

Well said . Most people have no idea of the enormous time and effort Neil puts in behind the scenes to helping young riders, in addition to holding down a full time job outside of speedway. Well done to Adam as well . I don't know what you are feeding him on but he is starting to look a totally different (and much improved ) rider the last few weeks.

With both Birks & Boxall looking likely to be out injured for a while, I wonder what Lakeside will do at reserve. Esp when you can only use the same Draft guest 4 times throughout the season. At least now they have Charles Wright as an option as well.

Ashley was going to miss the next home meeting anyway and Ben Morely had already been booked. This does expose the weakness of the EDR draft once again . The difference in ability is so great that when a top tier rider is injured/unavailable it is almost impossible to find a suitable guest.

If Kim is out for long it will be a massive blow, not just because of his improved average this year but also because of his riding style. He is probably the best rider since Jonas Davidsson at his peak around the white line at Lakeside which means he can go out with any othe member of the team and leave them plenty of room round the outside, whereas some of the others tend to like the same piece of track. Dave Watt is probably the best choice of guest if available and if Belle Vue have not already grabbed him in place of Craig Cook.

Agree Nilsson is a blow, but you have a wide choice of guests for next week's away meetings which I'm sure will produce a couple of track specialists!

The trouble is all the guests except Davey have had howlers this year......Doyle 6, Lindgren 5 ,Rory 4. What next ?

Let's just hope K. Bear Esq, has someting else booked next week !

Chuffed for Adam a great day for him in a difficult round,a disgrace he has not got a PL track.Cant understand why loads of lower end foreign riders get endless chances any chance of getting a PL place anytime soon.? i hope so. Edited by sidney
