the 4s is for the teams top 4 riders, you simply move down the order of your team with injuries...hence Stefan Nielsen

No it's not a windup Colin, just putting forward an alternative to what is 'normal', and suggesting something fairer. With the Playoffs you are entitled to a guest, who is not participating in the POffs, What's the difference to have a guest for this special meeting, when by no fault of his own, Lewis can't ride now. It is a break from the normal for 4's meeting, but this is a special one.

Yes, in a normal situation.

 

No guests in Pairs tho. Most teams have at least 3 decent riders, but in the 4's, not many teams have a decent 5th rider.

I'm guessing you would be willing to have Jonas B Andersen as a guest, and suffer from the dis-advantage of Jonas only having a 5.55 ave, compared to Lewis's 7.03 ave. All in the "best interest of the sport" of course.

The moment guests are allowed in the fours, it's a slippery slope. Keep them out.

Yes it is, but having two riders missing Christian and Kerr, Aarnio still nursing ribs and Nielsen dropping his shoulder out doesn't help does it.
