Wolves V Aces & Lions 7/9

Recommended Posts

After Bank Holidays clash with Belle Vue was postponed due to the weather, Belle Vue now go into this meeting with added confidence after Kings Lynn lost at home for the first time and got spanked away and now a glimmer of hope has become a real possibility but they still have to get a result.

Kings Lynn finish with a home clash against Swindon and must win to reach 51 points leaving Belle Vue needing a draw to reach the play offs on race points difference or a win puts them on 52 points and they are boosted by the fact Scott Nicholls has dropped to 5.96 and is a second string moving Grajczonek up to heat leader with Cook and Zagar.

Aces will also have Steve Worrall at reserve and he has a liking for Monmore Green having scored big here on most appearances while Craig Cook was unbeatable in the British Final and unlucky not to have gone unbeaten and lifted the title that night.

Leicester then finish off the season with Jason Doyle always worth watching while Swiderski can be hit or miss here and last time was miss in his first two before two very good rides at the end. Wozniak and Walasek haven't really done that much here but Sam Masters has done well at WV2 and would benefit being at #4 instead of #2.

Wolves will name the replacement for Lewis Blackbird soon but it's likely to be club asset Ashley Morris

WOLVES 47 ACES 43 ...... Sorry Aces fans

Will Zagar be back? A 7.83 average would make for an interesting choice of guest for Monday and for a replacement for the play-offs if they qualify?!

We are not boosted, I think it really unbalances the team, Grajczonek average dropped last month too yet moves up to heatleader where he will struggle, Grajczonek will drop more points then Nicholls can gain.

If he not back am sure it will be Harris.

The way Harris was riding tonight, I imagine they would use him esp at Wolves.

Was like watching 2010 Bomber tonight

Always seems to end the season well Bomber doesn't he?

Is it the colder nights meaning more moisture in the tracks and different engine characteristics?

For me, if he rode for BV at Wolves on Monday it would certainly improve the Aces' chances...

Honestly not sure. Heard he was brilliant at King's Lynn when he guested for Leicester during the week.

He scored paid 17 tonight at Brandon and it was like watching him in 2010. He was amazing.

I would be happy to see him guesting for the aces

I would pick Starke for Blackbird he is going really well at the moment and goes well at Monmore. Harris for Zagar is a no brainer probably get a max.

Was pants against Swindon though wasn't he? Shame about Zagar but if they do pick Harris then on the new engines I'm sure he'll do his best. If the rest of the Aces do the same they have a good chance of winning. Still fancy Wolves to nick this one though.

Like last week, aces strengthened at Monmore.

Bomber is a brilliant guest choice. He scored a max on Coventry's last visit there and now he's in even better form. Should make Belle Vue stronger.

Not good news for King's Lynn 😁😮
