Mr Blobby 2,662 Posted September 7, 2015 not happy to run the meeting just now as R/R makes you weaker and your not riding as well. But you'll be happy to ride if our Aussies are missing. Desperation from the new Glasgow era to get one over on us no matter what.
MD 1,307 Posted September 7, 2015 Courtesy of http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news/article.asp?id=2194 There will be no meeting at Armadale on Friday and the next meeting will be against Berwick in our final Premier league match of the season on Friday 18th September.Said co-promoter Alex Harkess, "We have reached the time of the year when our next match, to a large extent, is dependent on the result of fixtures elsewhere. We did approach Glasgow to race the League Cup Final on Friday but they were unable to take up that offer. To be fair it wouldn't have been perfect for us as we want to publicise that match as much as possible to maximise the crowd." "Berwick were prepared to come this Friday or next Friday and, for various reasons it was better to bring them on the 18th. One good reason was that Erik Riss was keen to be in Germany on Friday for the practice session of the next Long Track Grand Prix. With Joonas Kylmakorpi withdrawing from that competition Erik needs to pick up ten points to go top of the standings although their are a number of riders now in close competition."Talks are ongoing with Glasgow about the dates for the League Cup Final and we will announce these as soon as possible.
Gazc 7,098 Posted September 7, 2015 The Monarch mentality I'm afraid they really think it revolves round them and them only. If this Friday doesn't suit us then tough you didn't exactly say too much about Ipswich missing key riders in the semi but then again that suited you You really need to get out more rather than having cheap shot's at Glasgow there is more important issue's happening rather than wether we decide not to race this Friday because you say so

MANSE 480 Posted September 7, 2015 I believe we asked you to change the Spring Trophy to the following week at the beginning of the season when you had no fixture and you said no and now you expect us to run to you NO WAY
Fenway Bleachers 2,665 Posted September 7, 2015 Seems I have triggered some Speedway bonding. Maybe the Tiggers will have new race jacket colours for the Final.....Red and white stripes with a yellow streak up the back. Bring it on....soon!!! with crowds to match the occasion. I'm certain we'll get the crowds tbh. This is massive. For me, Edinburgh are the premier side by a fair margin again, but if we regain a bit of form then it's open. Very exciting fixtures indeed. yaaaaaaaaas.

Full off yourself aren't we but we prefer not to get involved in rash comments until after the meeting once dates are agreed you on the other hand must go through rofl after roll off toilet paper with all the sh*t you spout. Paulco 7,080 Posted September 8, 2015 Cant be many other sports where it's left to the clubs to sort out fixtures . The BSPA should have announced the dates for the final after it was known who the finalists were , but instead we have this nonsense again where a club finds itself with a free week and it's supporters have a moan because nobody will agree to fill that date for them .
lucifer sam 3,953 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) Um, given the September 13th deadline, surely it's the PL meeting against Berwick that should be run this Friday? All the best Rob Edited September 8, 2015 by lucifer sam
