Lakeside-v-kings Lynn 2nd Sept 8pm

Recommended Posts

No Lambert? Yeah this should be a very comfortable home win, just hope the Stars can gate to make it a little interesting, NKI should at least ensure some good action, he seems to love the place, his maximum for the Oxford Silver Machine back in 2006 I think it was still lives in my memory.

Lambert will be in Sweden

Is Porsing still riding? His Twitter post makes it sound like he's not.

Good luck @officialKLstars tonight in lakeside My shoulder is so bruised that I'm taking very strong painkillers. Not ideal for racing

MPT replacing Porsing then.

Shocking King's Lynn team at Lakeside tonight.

PL team + a GP rider.

And they call it the Elite League.

Dear oh dear oh dear.

If we can't put out a competitive side perhaps its time to drop out of the EL. Absolutely woeful, reminds me of 2002 and some of the gash we tracked in the 80's.

Amazing heat 15, with Ben Morely rewarded for a paid maximum in his 4 reserve rides, by not only being given a ride in the nominated heat but riding in red off gate 2 between Batch and Ivesen. Last off the start, "Southend's Finest " quickly disposed of Ivesen, and spent two laps dicing with Batch , briefly leading at one point, before it all came to a premeture end in a big heap on bend 2, lap 3. Cracking stuff from a rider who is only a reserve at PL level.

Apart from that it was basically the Speedwáy equivalent of a first round knock out in boxing.

Have King's Lynn issued an apology for the team they put out last night. They should hang their heads in shame.

Standard fare for a lot of EL matches. It was a poor meeting though, watched by a surprisingly decent sized crowd.
