what about something like this ?

1. Ryan Douglas - 7.18

2. Lewi Kerr - 5.98

3. Josh Auty - 7.01

4. Nickojaj Busk Jakobsen - 6.50

5. Rory Schlein - 7.16

6. Fritz Wallner - 4.00

7. James Shanes / Jack Smith / Josh Bailey - 2.00 / 2.00 / 2.05

Would be quiet happy to see MPT back on his just under 7 point average but I think this would be a very strong team and I think Schlein could potentially be a strong number 1 in this league

Also a few rumours that TJ is going to Rye so would rule him out of being at Berwick would love him back at Scunny and I think he could potentially be an out and out number 1 round scunny!

so you could have...

1. Thomas Jorgensen -7.45

2. Lewis Kerr - 5.98

3. Josh Auty - 7.01

4. Kyle Newman - 6.31 or Carl Wilkinson - 6.12

5. Ryan Douglas - 7.18

6. Fritz Wallner

7. 2.00 reserve

Godfrey never initially builds a decent side to 42.5, how the hell is he going to manage with only 40 to play with?? :) :)

Isn't Wallner a five

According to the SGB website he will be, although he finished on 3.83.

Rob will build the best team available.... hopefully full of racers to maintain the high quality of racing that we expect from Scunthorpe

Isn't Wallner a five

I am honestly not sure, the rules don't seem very clear, on one hand it says newcomers to the championship are on a 3 but others say 2 and the BSPA Twitter said lowest foreigner average is 4 /9 I am confused on this

I have 5 teams written down on paper based on what Rob has said about keeping most of 2016 final team in 2017(but we know he can wind us up at times to throw us off the scent. It is also based on a couple of twitter posts on the SpeedwayGB feed of, quote, British riders who haver never achieved a 3 point average can start next season on a 2 in both leagues. Where a rider has raced and averaged between 2-3 he will start next season on that true average ie J Bailey 2.05. The other quote being The minimum average for foreign riders is now 4.

So, based on my interpretations

1. Ryan Douglas 7.18

2. Alex Davies( if fit & fitter due to winter in Oz) / Carl Wilkinson 5.41/6.21

3. Rory Schlein(experience & could be no1) 7.17

4. Lewis Kerr 5.98

5. Josh Auty 7.01

6. Fritz Wallner 4.00

7. Jack Smith / Tom Bacon / Josh Bailey 2.00

Team Total 38.75 / 39.55

Team based on "entertainment", word Rob uses a lot at home but, also, a team that could score points away.

Waller will be a 5.00 rider

Bailey will be a 2.00 rider

And I don't see Shanes riding a weekend track, doesn't he grasstrack?
