Why The Top Riders Dont Want To Rider In Britain..

So let's forget about that and concentrate on doing what we can afford and doing it well!

Money must be the biggest reason.If Britsh speedway paid the most the riders would ride here 7 days a week for sure.

Half of the GP field raced in the UK in 2016......with 3 of the top 5 finishing up the season here.

 

Standout rider this year is Jason Doyle who has just committed to a new 2 year deal at Swindon.

We know the reasons why they won't come.

Not enough money

Too many meetings

Too many different race nights

Poor prepared tracks

No squads

One thing the UK does offer though is big sponsors for Riders. Maybe not league but there are some big sponsors for UK riders. Most Poole riders get lots of cost covered.

One consistent race night is the biggest factor in my mind. We could even have more fixtures if we were able to designate one night of the week for EL action.
