TEAM NEWS: This Saturday night a very strong Sheffield team visit the Den in search of SGB Championship points. Gates Open 5.30pm Tapes Up 7pm

Reminder - New Supporter vouchers are valid for this and every meeting in the 2017 season.

GLASGOW 'Allied Vehicles' TIGERS...
1 Richard Lawson 9.19
2 Nike Lunna 5.83
3 Aaron Summers © 8.98
4 Dan Bewley 5.64
5 Richie Worrall 8.95
6 Tom Perry 3.71
7 Jack Smith 2.00
TM - Stewart Dickson.

SHEFFIELD 'Window Centre' TIGERS
1 Josh Grajczonek 9.46
2 Todd Kurtz 5.02
3 Lasse Bjerre 7.38
4 Josh Bates 6.33
5 Kyle Howarth © 8.19
6 Robert Branford 4.30
7 Nathan Stoneman 2.00
TM - Simon Stead.

I'm worried about this one. Sheffield on paper look stronger than both Workington and Ipswich and they ran us close. Josh G could go through the card and Kyle Howarth rode well last year at Ashfield. Mr Bates has had a few shockers but he did have one amazing meeting where he punched well above his weight. So it could come down to which version turns up and pressure again on our 2 reserves.

Glasgow to win with Sheffield just missing out on a bonus.

Rocky Bates' best meeting was guesting for Somerset , the punching part was reserved for his last two visits with his own club . We ran Sheffield close down there a few weeks back , this could be more of the same . Hopefully our three heat leaders have got their Peterborough nightmare out their system , because they'll all need to be firing on Saturday .

Could be a cracker of a meeting with hopefully our version of the Tigers coming out on top .

Tigers might just sneak this one.

Maybe not a stroll in the park.

But which Tigers ? The ones who so gloriously hammered the Monarchs at home and then oozed class in clinching a deserved draw at the evil lair . Or the Tigers who ceremoniously despatched the Forces of Darkness out of the KO Cup ?

Depends which Tigers turn up.

But the waste of money that got well humped by the Panters on Sunday could be in for a struggle.

Battle of the middle order. Kurtz and Bjerre dont stick out as having any recent Ashfield form though Bates does. Avoiding last places will be just as important as winning heats, and please, no 40 lap grading at ht10.

Tractor grading is included in the entrance price though so presumably improves the vfm.

Sheffield have been my tips last two seasons, but I believe we are now league favourites. Josh G is class but won't go through the card against our top 3. Hopefully Josh B has his boxing gloves on to give us some entertainment during the tractor racing.

Narrow win for Scotland's finest.

At least we can actually see our tractors whizzing around (and around!) our circuit, not just the drivers heads!

Even the best have the odd blip along the course of a long season , yes the standards they have set themselves wasn't achieved at Peterborough , but fear not my Monarch supporting friend , we shall return .

Just had a thought. if the 1100 that paid last week and 840 newbies all come again this week and pay plus more newbies it is going to be really packed. so can see people needing to arrive early to get there seat in the stand and best positions on the terracing

Can see it being very busy again tonight I have another 5 newbies tonight and the six last week loved it and plan to attend tonight.

Taking into account the bring a friend initiative 1100 paying customers is still impressive, some clubs out there can only dream of getting that amount Our owners are showing how it should be done.

No Josh Bates tonight due to illness, so rider replacement, probably guarantees a win for the Scots
