Starman2006 2,354 Posted July 24, 2017 Well done Belle Vue. Gutted for Perks. Glad he's not hurt though. This is by far the best track we have seen on telly so far. It should be. Its big fast and vertually brand new, any curator with half a brain could prepare that.
longlivefrankie 458 Posted July 24, 2017 Very enjoyable meeting , also fair dos to wolves it takes two to make a entertains meeting and they have tried hard but not just perks bike on fire tonite. That was like aces in the seventies at Hyde road , you usually got thumped
stevebrum 6,821 Posted July 24, 2017 (edited) Poor Elis Perks, that will cost him. Brum can you not help him out ?In what way?? Masters and Perks apart the rest have been very slow. Congratulations to Belle Vue for making the most of that. Tungate the difference, Thank god for the likes of Bewley for the future of GB. Perton Wolf 396 Posted July 24, 2017 It should be. Its big fast and vertually brand new, any curator with half a brain could prepare that. NSS is by far the best racing track in the country, was surprised it produced relatively little passing in the first half of the meeting but has lived up to expectations since. mdmc82 2,878 Posted July 24, 2017 Brilliant to have a meeting where no stoppages until heat 15.
R87 476 Posted July 24, 2017 Wolves season in real danger of grinding to a halt at the moment. Have to big up some major points at Kings Lynn and Somerset. Tonight was always going to be a big ask, but bitterly disappointed at the capitulation.
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted July 24, 2017 (edited) Pretty entertaining meeting in the end. Lindgren quite poor tonight and only Masters did the biz. Perks unfortunate with his bike hope Wolves fans have a collection on Monday for him. Good to see a big crowd. The 9.99 entrance is a very good idea for tv meetings. Keep that up. So what are the scb going to do about Thorsell? Guess we will know tomorrow. Edited July 24, 2017 by Steve Shovlar
marko 956 Posted July 24, 2017 Shock horror - a televised meeting actually finishes before the programs booked end time.
Perton Wolf 396 Posted July 24, 2017 Schlein and Lindgren really poor, fantastic from Masters, Good Effort from Perks. As to be expected from Barker and Greaves. Good job Kings Lynn are struggling else I'd be worried about not making the top 4. Can't see us winning the Playoffs with this 7 though, unless Lindgren gets back to his previous form.
