Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

Recommended Posts

I guess in your little world its that simple bless you

Exactly. Clubs pick which league they want to take part in (e.g. Eastbourne and Lakeside). I think I missed their double relegation play-offs.

I often wonder if a gun being taken out of a toolbox in the pits at a Cradley vs Hackney match in 1969 after a fight on the track was ever true..

Yes, it's true enough.

There wasn't a fight on track though, just a screw-loose Hawk being stupid.

Never knew if it was a real gun, tho.....

Yeh, Garry Middleton pulled a gun on Roy Trigg. Just a bit of boisterous high-jinx...It would be frowned upon now. :D

Apparently he was smuggled out of the stadium in the back of a car...

I read helmets were flying on the track....maybe not then

No date in the Leicester fixtures about this meeting

Unlikely to be required or staged because 2018 seems just about signed, sealed and then due to be delivered. Leicester stay "up" and other "lower" teams join them in whatever the "top" division is called.

Ipswich and Sheffield?

And Glasgow - if geography is not against that possibility. And don't rule out Lakeside yet.

Do you really believe that?

We if Monday and Thursday night race night is happening then this won't happen. We might actually see one or two join the premiership.

Yes I do. But it may be only two joining those already there because of set race nights which seem to be a done deal..

If the promo/rele meetings do happen I hope the respective promotions give themselves a stern talking to!! I can see Damian Bates huddled in a pit corner somewhere mumbling hysterically to himself!! :-) :-)
