How does that work exactly? Because you can have a guest for someone who is 4th or 5th in the averages if they are D/U ( Wright is at Sheffield ), but not if they are injured , then it must be R/R. Aah another rule change that I must have missed. Thanks. Should make the meeting a bit more competitive.

Because of the fixed race nights it's hardly happened this season. Doubt it will make it much more competitive, Poole make just make 60pts now instead of 62!

UPDATE: Apologies I saw the alphabetical 1-7 (less the Auty guest) and thought it was the riding order?! Edited August 7, 2018 by Skidder1

Skidder1 7,637 Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) Starke in for Auty?! Or maybe Jake Allen? Edited August 8, 2018 by Skidder1
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted August 8, 2018 Has to be r/r surely as they have Bellego for Wright.
poole keith 911 Posted August 8, 2018 or is it guest allowed for a doubling up rider?

Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) True but Auty is injured, not riding. It won’t make much difference anyway. Result is foregone to be honest. Edited August 8, 2018 by Steve Shovlar

Skidder1 7,637 Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) Wright is a 2nd string on doubling up/down duty so the Lions get a guest (Bellego). Auty is a reserve and will be replaced by someone (Starke or Allen - depending on the source of the info?) with the same or lower average. What should have been almost certainly a fairly routine away win has now turned into one of Poole’s few home bankers. Poole have always been a lucky team.
