naffer 442 Posted November 9, 2022 Full kudos to SCS team Credit to the gallery Tony Gillias top man the councillors saw through the bullrubbish and voted correctly I know BE will appeal but a unanimous refusal must put them on the back foot at least
racers and royals 8,736 Posted November 9, 2022 Maybe Arnie might know the answer to this- do the planning officers take the refusal personally ? or is it just a job ?

They are individual human beings. Some will and some won't. Some regard councillors as ignorant amateurs getting in the way of professional planners, others accept they are there to give professional advice to democratically elected representatives. Most will take time to listen to and engage with councillors they respect, and try and remain dilomatically tight lipped with the grandstanding egotistical ones.
