Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted July 2, 2019 (edited) After our fabulous win at Belle Vue last night we are back to Wimborne Road on Thursday night for the visit of strengthened up Kings Lynn. This is a very tough meeting for Poole against a side packed with Poole track specialists. Riders like Lambert, Palm Toft, Riss and Cook all go well here. Pirates need to remain at the top of our game to win this one. Again it will be r/r for Worrall which weakens us no doubt. We will have to see who guests at reserve A very close one. Not sure we need to worry too much about Kings Lynn they have their weaknesses too.

Under normal circumstances of a full team but we will have reserves not used to our track who will have to take 3 of Worralls 4 rides.

Yes but S Lambert is one of their reserves and our heat leaders are more than capable of beating their top riders. Is NBJ not available yet?
Bagpuss 10,780 Posted July 2, 2019 Our top six are well capable of scoring 46 between them anywhere but it just hasn’t happened away from home this year due to chronic inconsistency throughout the whole team. I would expect something like 55-35 on Thursday but hoping for much better.

I thought the rumour says that nbj has left the club also simon lambert has been released by kings lynn and replaced b broc nichol but he has been injured now so who knows

semion 2,192 Posted July 2, 2019 Riss just back from injury, S Lambert unlikely to trouble the scorers. Cook in no sort of form in the Prem. TJ hit or miss. Robert Lambert off to the GP straight after the meeting. If Poole don’t win this by 20 plus I would be very surprised

Gavan 5,050 Posted July 2, 2019 Should be comfortable for Poole Covatti at home 3,7,3,10,2,3,4 Apart from one meeting against the weak reserves of Swindon he has done nowhere near good enough at home.....Poole fans wanted him gone a short while back If Wells gets 5 he will have done the same as Nico, though im sure the Poole big mouth would say Covatti would get double figures........... Poole in current form should take this comfortably by 15 or more
