Went to Sheffield for the wtc meeting and it was run in appalling conditions. Who remembers that?

God yeah didn't Loram crash down the home straight?

Assuming Eurosport will have their roving reporter Dave Rowe at Owlerton on Monday, so maybe it wouldn't be too big a stretch to show the races alternately even without the use of multiple cameras, which tbh have been used quite badly for most matches this season anyway.

Can't eurosport do 2 televised meetings at once like they did on sky?

A lot less budget. Glad they don’t either, was crap for fans.

Exactly, just position the camera well.

Fair comment but maybe they could show just the actual minute's race rather than all the guff, wouldn't have to be live either, they could just squeeze in the Owlerton races as and when the opportunity arose, track grades etc.

Knowing eurosport there would be riders racing for the finishing line four abreast and they would cut to the other meeting

Yep remember standing on the back straight, someone had a nasty crash on the home straight, Loram perhaps? 2002? Remember seeing Topinka in a petrol station on the way home and he was a miserable git  :D

True but then again Dave Rowe could comfortably commentate on the racing even if they doubled the speed at which they showed it.

It only started raining heavily a few hours ago and the forecast said it was due to stop at 5, but it didn't, so they left it as long as they could, suppose it being on TV would have been part of the problem as well

The local Yorkshire Calendar tv sport has just done a piece on the match no mention its been called off  and they showed a picture of Nicki Pedersen in his Kings Lynn days 20 years ago ,
