Shaleshifter 177 Posted October 11, 2021 (edited) Right then. Poole have chosen to take on Leicester Lions in the playoffs even though the quarter finals are yet to be raced. Hmm. Speedway can really be farcical when situations like this arise. Let's look at various Senarious. 1. Scunthorpe sensationally pull back the huge deficit and progress. Not likely but ? 2. The meeting is called off again due to the weather or no Ambulance cover? 3. Meeting abandoned due to rider's crashing out and withdrawing from the meeting. This of course is all hypothetical but again? Anyway if it is to be the Lions then so be it but they will be a tough nut to crack. Poole having to stage their leg first isn't ideal but that's the way it's shaping up unless there is another twist to this drama. Thoughts. W9 Lion 222 Posted October 11, 2021 Potentially two good meetings, between two good sides. Think (And hope) it will be closer than on previous visits this season.

Leicester were doing well at Poole last time til they seemed to collapse half way through the meeting! Any sort of lead over 10 is okay with me, but obviously prefer 14ish if possible! My initial thought is that its not the k.o.c.1st leg! secondly the Poole website states its either Leicester or Scunthorpe, so as it stands at the moment I guess Wednesday's matchday programme will have a Poole v Leicester race card but with the opportunity to print off a single sheet insert for Poole v Scunny! Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted October 11, 2021 If Andersen is out, which is highly likely, Leicester can have a guest up to 8.36. Strengthens them.

Wee Eck 703 Posted October 12, 2021 Chris Harris fits for Andersen. That’s one move that would certainly strengthen Leicester
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted October 12, 2021 (edited) Harris for Andersen. Changes the whole complexion of the tie. Hans is usually good for 5-7 points max at Poole. Harris is good for 12-14. Edited October 12, 2021 by Steve Shovlar

Is that the Chris Harris that got 8 from 6 rides this season replacing the Hans Anderson that got 9 from 5 and 6 from 3…… hmmm seems that maths isn’t your strong point or checking facts either Oh and in 2019 Hans scored 14 from 6 and Harris got 8 twice I’m still trying to work out your maths in who scores the best at Poole You like to get excuses in we know that buys yet again the facts speak for themselves …. Harris for Hans isn’t making them stronger Edited October 12, 2021 by Gavan

If he doesn’t gate he rarely passes. Not his favourite track. We really should have gone for Edinburgh.

Harris didn't do well at Poole with Brum but there were problems with the track then so prob do better. Peterborough may block him from guesting anyway.
