It’s things like this that annoy you, no other club in whole of speedway would refuse any sponsorship however big or small.

It now seems he went into the season with lack of commitment and if any problems he would just pull the plug, despite taking sponsorship money off others.

Well done to Mama Potts for telling him her feelings last night… shame I didn’t bump into him so I could tell him mine.. oh and he now has an unofficial bodyguard following him around haha

He will need a bodyguard for the amount of people he has p@ssed off ,surprised he hasn't gone into hiding .

Definitely and to be strutting around Berwick in his Diamonds gear so soon after his shocking effort this year is a joke.

Daft thing is if he pulled the plug last season no one would of blamed him.

Totally agree.. He was with one or two others as well who were following him about and wouldn’t leave his side.

Surely he can wear what he wants?

Interesting you should look at a contract for 2003, when he left for Berwick in July 2002! LOL!

Might have mentioned this before, but we (Dalbers , Dave Fraser and myself) tried to talk him out of wanting to leave when he joined us for a trip up to Glasgow when he was out injured in 2002.  Most of the way there and most of the way back we tried to make him see sense.  The following night, he came up to the gantry (Dalbers was doing the commentary for JAG Videos Live in those days) only for him to tell us he'd handed in a transfer request.  So clearly (despite him telling everyone it was the biggest mistake of his career) he hasn't learnt anything in all the years since.

We won't mention bomb scares......

Things could've all been different if Steve Park had been a better negotiator then. Bah :icon_smile_clown:

Exactly the reason why wearing Diamonds gear sticks in ya crop. It's like he is mocking the fans and has no sympathy for the loyal fans.

Grant has certainly come out of this smelling of roses. A large creditor himself, and no sign of the GoFund money, Where is all the money he has coined in recently for the disposal of track equipment. And of course all of the food income has probably already been through his own account. Talking to someone yesterday and they thought Rob would not have lost anything given where all the loose change money that is not identified.  Even got himself  down as a creditor getting a share of the £6000 assets available.

Rob Grant, the worst Promoter Speedway has ever had.

One of the few Speedway Promoters who has not lost money running the sport by all accounts.
