Does he not know there's a perfectly good speedway track and stadium in existence already,  owned by his business partner and one he's promoted at for years?

What the flippin flip?!?

Whereabouts Iain?..

Sounds absolutely perfect...

Let all involved know...

Maybe you could be eligible to get a 20% finders fee for finding it?  ;):D

Being a "glass is half full" kind of guy, I am at least positive that Terry Russell released this statement as the silence since the statement that they had located somewhere to build a track was deafening.

So, let's play a game. Let's assume this is true that there is a location found that is a similar distance from Swindon centre as Blunsdon. Foxhill Moto Parc, surely? Obvious place to put a speedway track.

Why release this if it isn't true? I'm sure there are many theories regarding that! In the meantime, we can only hope.

If, and it’s a big If, you believe that statement, then no doubt these “various legal and planning actions necessary “ will include a significant number of houses on the “potential” site as part of the planning application.

I can see it now, the applicant will build “xxx homes with the consent for a further xxx homes subject to completion and operating of said stadium” xxx homes get built whilst the land for the stadium lays dormant, just like Wallyford stadium.

Dodgy Tel announces he's found a perfect new place for Speedway, so it's OK to knock the Abbey down.

Dopey Swindon council fall for this, and allow the Abbey Stadium to be knocked down and houses built.

Tel Boy hits a snag and the perfect new stadium can't be built after all.

Swindon council say "never mind, you tried your best"

Osbourne hands a brown envelope each to Tel Boy and the Council leader.

Osbourne moves on to rinse and repeat at the next town.

Given Osborne's previous 100% record of "never".    I think it's safe to say Never in this case too.

A man I met at the Reading Racino, who was asking for directions to Torquay United's Riviera Arena.
