Didn’t he up his average by 2 points or something for Poole?
the PR and magazines etc is done by one of his sponsors, and yes, financially he was held back this year

Yes Kemp has got one of them averages between 5 and 6.99 which makes it difficult to fit in especially if a team wants to sign high average heatleaders!

That said his lack of progress when he has talked of doing so much more is also a factor!

He is progressing though.!

It's not a numbers game on the Rising Star list.

Everyone who can ride these bikes has talent. The issue is whether they have the work ethic or do they just want things to fall in their laps without effort?

Has he believed his own hype & gained a stinker of an ego?

Got to say that I haven't seen this "talent" people talk about.

He certainly isn't up there with Woffinden, Lambert, Bewley at a young age.

Completely agree just an ok rider imo

I think the laddie needs to stop wearing upside down plant pots on his head, get a haircut, toughen up a bit and spend less time on producing calenders etc. Seems to be a case of more style than substance (of the right sort)

Tbf he has had his hair cut over the winter!:D

The other guy missing a spot is Anders Rowe, who did extremely well in the Polish U24 league last year. Such a shame for young UK talent to be left on the sidelines...

I have heard that Mr Rowe & his Father are very difficult to work with & some British clubs are not prepared to put up with them.

Fathers and speedway riders !- I remember at Rye House some were ‘difficult’ but Len Silver would smooth troubled waters - he needed to because RH had a lot of kids!!
