Glasgow Tigers v Berwick Bandits 14/04/23

Recommended Posts

Teams taken from Glasgow website:

Glasgow: 1.Chris Harris, 2.Marcin Nowak, 3.Ben Basso, 4.Claus Vissing, 5.Tom Brennan (c), 6.Lee Complin, 7.Ace Pijper.

Berwick: 1.Thomas Jorgensen, 2.Jonas Knudsen, 3.Leon Flint (c), 4.Jye Etheridge, 5.Rory Schlein, 6.Nathan Stoneman, 7.Connor Coles.

Should be a good evening weather wise and no doubt some cracking racing on track, with a Tigers win by 14-16pts IMO.

Can't see anything less than 20 point win to the stripes. Don't remember Jorgensen ever pulling up any trees Leon has had good and bad days, etheridge is generally awful at ashfield and Knudsen did ok on debut. Only really leaves the roo boy (can we still really call him that lol) as opposition rider with any real ashfield form.

Hopefully ace can get amongst the points with weaker reserves than last week give him confidence boost.

I think the reserves race will be interesting and how Pijper, Coles and Stoneman progress throughout the meeting. I don't think Berwick will be any pushovers though and if they can keep it tight at Ashfield then they will have a good chance of securing the bonus point at Shielfield as the tigers aren't really that good away from home at times.

Your team will win comfortably at Shielfield imo. Bomber, Vissing, Complin plenty experience in Bandits colours, Pijper as a Bullet, Basso and Allen will score a good amount too

Any weather updates?

Dry with occasional sunny spells forecast is dry but cold later wrap up well.

Rain in the area but likely to be mildly annoying residual dampness rather than consequential.

The reserves of berwick aren't much weaker than Edinburgh very similar imo
