Suggestion was nothing to do with stopping people complaining, thinking of a way to make the clubs make an effort to stage it. To pay tribute to Nigel seemed the best chance of making it happen?

If the sport wants to honour him then it should give him a proper memorial meeting. Not stick his name on a cup final from last year that didn’t get completed in a half-assed gesture.

That seems quite unfair on Leicester, at first glance, especially with Poole being at home. But I guess Leicester could pick 7 riders who's averages have gone up?

Should just allow Leicester to race with their full team, using Lion Cubs to fill gaps caused by Lawson racing for Poole & the banned Worrall imo.
