Premiership Pairs 2023 - Wolverhampton 15th May

Recommended Posts

If we have a wet May what's the next competition to be culled? The KO Cup?

Will every team be able to get two riders of their own there?

We know that every team riding on the same night can play havoc with guests...

Bomber might end partnering himself for two or three teams... :D

And they've already penciled in Wolves v Sheffield on the 15th May to replace the Pairs with the KO Cup semi-final,before the side have even ridden the 2nd leg of the qtr-final against Belle Vue.                So have the Aces been told don't bother trying to win it will mess up the fixture list.

The reason being put forward for reducing the pairs to a single event is to catch up on postponed meetings. Therefore, I cannot understand why Wolves home leg against Sheffield has been slotted in for the 15th now. Wolves only home postponement was against Leicester so why is that not being re-staged then?

Hi Elmo, thanks for the response. Do you have any idea when the tickets would be on sale. We will be travelling so don’t want any hiccups. Cheers.

Sounds a bit like our railways…… who run trains fast missing out stops on the way to make up time….stuff the passengers waiting at the stops missed.

Already see another fixture mess in early winter 2023 . If clubs keep on calling off meetings more than 24hrs ahead of tapes up , and the summer break that now seems to happen un June July - chaos in October is inevitable .

should BSPA not agree to run p offs early .. pretty clear now who’s in the prem play offs … and allow Pboro and kl to run a wooden spoon p off of their own?

So the 15th May meeting has been switched back to a Prem league match with Sheffield, and presumably Scott Nicholls will be available to slot in for Wolves (average permitting).Hopefully not Ben Barker otherwise we're all going to be there until midnight while they replace the safety fence, which he normally demolishes on his visits to Monmore.
