I understand the track has been widened this year, with the 4% incline that puts the fence higher, probably meaning the bottom seats have even more restricted view than normal. So, move every one up.

I remember a time when the starting gate at Cardiff had 2 sets of tapes so that if one got broken they had another set ready to go.

Just what so many UK tracks should do when on TV..

Peterborough seemed to do something a few weeks ago, don't know if deliberate or not, but they packed people in together in the grandstand..

A much better impression of the sport than having sporadic empty seats..

 

I think it's to keep the number of stewards required to a minimum.
